This proof Kennedy 3 piece clover leaf surfaced in the 70’s. I sold it to a customer.
In the early 2000’s I re- purchased it and sold it to a dealer. It is now certified by NGC. To date, it’s the only known clover leaf Kennedy in proof.

It has been established that proof mint error coins were hidden in the oil pans of the forklifts that were serviced outside of the Mint. This Kennedy Half clover was intentionally produced and was in this group:
Others were discovered in a group of San Francisco Proof Errors that was auctioned by the State of California, after being released by the Secret Service. This 1970-S Proof Quarter from the United States was overstruck on a 1941 Quarter from Canada and was intentionally produced, and was in this group:
A few years ago a group of proof errors surfaced, which had been in a collection for 50 years, including unknown types of proof errors. This proof double struck Ike Dollar was intentionally produced and was in this group:

Been a long time since I posted but I like this thread as it goes to my newest addition to my Roll Hoard... got this, my first Half Roll, today. Still trying with the Penny Rolls but boy, tough to wrestle away from businesses these days. And the only Banks/CUs i need from won't let me buy without an account... so thanks for this thread... hopefully I'll add to it many times this year...
