He didn't find anything.

S. coins were non-silver and modern, so no idea why they were rejected.
Great start to August! Found the 1947 nickel in the parking lot of the Nob-Hill, So close but not silver.
At the CS in the Hob-Hill got this 1964D dime and 5 cent Bank Negara Malaysia (interesting...).
Now the 64D and the BNM were not in the coin return slot, they were seated on the "Lift-arm of the CS machine, if you only check the return, you could miss something! I always lift the lift-arm to see what treasure may be left hiding...
(9) ordinary zinc Lincoln Cents.
(10) ordinary modern Roosevelt Dimes.
(2) ordinary modern Jefferson Nickels.
(1) 1973-D bronze cent for my bag of "copper".
(1) 1956-D silver Roosevelt Dime.
(1) useless 1999 Euro 1-cent.
$2.20 in clad quarters, dimes with a few nickels and cents. No silver. Maybe my luck has changed. Might convert the haul to one mega millions ticket and win the $1.25 Billion up for grabs in the next drawing.
Not a coinstar but found half in and half out the front door of 7-11. I was thinking about how long it had been since I found change on the ground outside 7-11 and wham. Here we go. Watched several folks walk on by and noticing it they didn’t even pick up the quarters. Amazing 🤔
Walking up to the machine in the Wally of the World I spied a couple of smallish coins peeking out from just under the machine. I checked the slot, the sorting grille etc then bent over to purloin the coins I noticed under the front of the machine.
One of the customer service people hollered over to me, "did you lose something?" just as I was sliding them out into my paws. "Yup, my sanity!" She giggled and walked off. I have actually had store employees yell at me for even looking under the machine - I have found that saying something crazy back to them drives them away.
BTW just a clad roosie and a Canadian 10c for all that attempted humiliation.

Finally got around to converting $2 of the $2.20 I found in a coin star into a mega million ticket. Using lucky money might turn into a lucky pick six and $1.55 billion. Someone has to win, sometime.

The quarter at the bottom is a 1934 (no D or S) that I found yesterday Quarter roll hunting! That's 4 in 2 days! I just sat down to make sure that there was no horseshoe anywhere...

Wife asked me to pick-up her prescription (6:00 PM) yesterday evening, so I hit my usual 3 CS location after. I usually do not do evening runs, but this one turned out very rewarding! 2 1964-D Lincolns and change at the Mexican store, 2 cents at the Nob-Hill, and a nice 1966 40% silver Kennedy Half at the Safeway!! I may have to incorporate evening runs more often!?!

Ugly 4th of July silver dime find, I had to weight this one just to be sure! I'll take it, still bating .1000 for 2023! 1960 D.

I'm assuming it's a typo, but a 1966 half is 40% silver not 80% Congrats on the haul.
@Joe_360- If you haven't already, double check that 34 for a DDO.
