    I really like the look of that 1916!

    It's funny: When I saw how the photos showed here, I wondered the same thing.

    But, no. It's a bit of toning; it looks nice in person. :)

    To me it looks like the typical appearance for a genuine (original) early-date Walking Liberty half dollar.
