I have 100+ cards I am waiting on, along with waiting on my first"10" on a card. Couldn't believe no 10's in the 40-50 Griffey Juniors I sent in, especially as there are plenty.

That's not a typo. Just about 13 months since logged and still not done. Not arrived...... logged.

Went from still being in assembly yesterday, to being in QA2 as of just now.

Got the email after midnight last night that my grades were available. Very harshly graded is all I will say. Good thing it only took them 391 days to grade them. If it would have taken 392 days I would be so mad right now.

similar to the estimate the cable guy gives or UPS gives. Anywhere from 1 day to 2 or 3 weeks.

@envoy982 -- I feel your pain. I was expecting 3 PSA 9, 1 PSA 8 , and 1 PSA 7 = and got back 2-PSA 9, 1-PSA 8- and 2-PSA 7

Take what you will on the below. It's a debate that raged in my head while they were closed

Do I wait until Economy opens and pay 1/3 the price for what amounts to the same service as Express or not ?
I was actually quiet, um, surprised at the speed of the economy. Was expecting mid April ( 6 weeks not 3)
Express popped in 10 business, the first economy in 15 business.

Stingy with the tens for sure. Seems like everyone continues to get whooped with lots of cards one to two grades lower than what we have been used to over the years - which is rough no matter what you like to submit.

Well that order just went into QA1. It’d be nice to have these back for the weekend but I know how doubtful that is. After 14+ months, I hope I’m not disappointed with the grades.

The Griffey rookie is an absolute joke (as are so many of the more modern 9s). The Brady rookie was a gift as I peeled it from a stuck brick of cards.

Edited to add: I have a 20 card econ sub that arrived the same day and moved to grading at the same time as this one but is still in grading. Has anyone had a 20 or 50 card econ order pop yet? Those seem to be quite a ways behind these smaller ones.

I had an economy that arrived 2/22 and entered 3/2 ship on 3/25. Here’s some scans. The Brett was a crack and resub trying to get an 8, but no luck.

@mrburns443 The Brett looks sharp and barring any weird back issues, I think it would look just fine in an 8 holder. The Ryan in a 6 is a bit puzzling but centering looks pretty close to 70/30 which is inline for a 7. Are there back issues, centering/dents/bubbles? How is pricing con these compared to an S G C holder in .5-1 grade higher? I've found the back is less of a concern with them.

I’ve subbed a bunch of 71s and 72s recently and it seems like they’ve been tough, although I’m not an expert. I did have luck with these Clemente’s a few months back.

Brett s/b an 8 or even 8.5. Why have half grades and not award it where it is clearly warranted?

Going against my best judgement, I "won" a 20 card submission last week and am breaking out 4-5 (maybe more) PSA 8's and 9's to resubmit them, to see how they are graded today. I know it's a tiny sample size, but if I'm going to waste 1K, I want to see this grading consistency experiment. Will share results when they get back. Still waiting for 4/11/21 order of 44 quarterly specials, 4/27/21 vintage group of 22 cards, and another 5/20/21 special group of 68 cards--all in grading for many many months.

I just shake my head at the grading these days. That Ryan looks like it is sharp enough to go through a block of cheese. And a six?

Today marks 15 months at PSA and still in grading(for roughly a year apparently). I shouldn't have to call and inquire about the status as the CTDs are well past the log date for this sub. Ultra modern comprimises most of the backlog and I would be willing to guess that those subbing are fairly new to the hobbby, but don't forget the long time customers and their registries as well.

Well after the scare from 76collector having his order lost, I called them on the 9th and it was supposedly escalated to a supervisor. Fast forward a few days and on the 14th I check and see if there are any updates. I was told that I should here something by that Thursday, the 17th. No communication since the 14th so I didn't know what to think. Luckily, I check today and the order is in assembly. A huge sigh of relief as these cards are not replaceable.

I agree on the consensus noted here on the Ryan. The back looks clean as well. A 7 in my estimation. Just a small mark to the left of 366 stat on the reverse and brown spot below the 4 in 24 stat line.

that is a great brett. The top/bottom centering is why it's a 7 would be my guess but if this were the days of $8 subs you could send it in 5 times and it would get into the right holder eventually

on the ryan, side to side looks to be just too much for a 7. at the bottom it is pretty tight. it almost looks ok in the holder because the fat side is under the lip in the holder

My Value Modern logged 3/25 popped 2 days ago. Had one logged 3/21 that popped almost a month ago. Also have one logged 3/26 still in “grading” so you just never know.

When I saw this post, I hoped I might see some movement in my value modern order by April…no such luck.

Very happy with the grades and I can say the wait was worth it. I will have the big reveal when I get them in hand and scanned.

The sub that is in Q2 was marked arrived 2/3/21 and today is the One year Anniversary of it being entered to the system. Been in Q2 for a few days now. I really hope I feel the same way Maddux69 feels. Bad grades would crush me.

Does anyone have an order entered earlier than June, 2021 that hasn't reached grading yet? All my orders through April reached grading months ago but I still have one that was entered on May 21 that is still in research. Should I be concerned?
