The available count is not dropping. Only shows 3 have sold. Probable glitch. I think orders are going in above the stated limit by mistake. The privy and medal set should have sold out.

I get goosey when the mintages are fairly high and any extra value or perceived rarity exists primarily in the packaging. Couple this with the one coin or set limit and I'm out. The dollars and halves will not be sellouts anytime soon and anyone who wants the privies or 3-coiners will be able to get one. Call me a fool later but I just don't see these going anywhere.

Interesting as it is counting now, but for a long time it did not move. That is also indicating very low demand.

Wow that is a terrible sales number at this point. The limit here may backfire for the mint. Cancellations may be next. Also quality is a big question mark. I never thought the mint would ship such terrible quality as they did with the Morgans. Who knows what kind of quality we get going forward.

Of the privy I should specify.

what do you see for the medal set that had a product limit of 15,000?

I’m not at the computer now to check but like 15 minutes ago I think it was like 10,000.

I received for first order.

I almost went for the privy. Just couldn't go through with it.

I chased SEs and Morgans/Peace last year, but that might have been it for me.

I always get one of each my commemorative set, but it does seem that interest is fading. I really thought more that 10,000 of the silver privy coin would have sold by now.

Off the top of my head the only commem that I recall selling out, at least quickly, was the buffalo dollar years ago.

The Lincoln dollars might have sold out, as well.

It has nothing to do with last year. This type of issue is never that hot. Most commems that come with 400,000 mintage limits have very limited appeal. There is no secondary market. No one has probably issued a bid on them. So you don't have any flippers involved.

JM. The question was about why they were surprised. My answer is spot on. One of several reasons. Last year was the topic. You have additional comments but don’t slam my opinion. I respect your knowledge but don’t appreciate your gruffness.
