    I had a Regular Submission hit QC (after 4 1/2 months) the same day as an Economy Submission (about 2 months), on the same day. The Regular Submission was shipped out within a few days, I received it here at home today. The Economy Submission is stuck in QC hell.

    How long does it take to inspect a label?

    Looks like 5 months at this point. Not even to QA. Every one of these has been graded by PCGS before and had numbers, so not much research needed. Hard to understand why.

    Five months after submitting my order at Summer FUN, my grades were finally posted. I was surprised to see "Grades ready", and even more surprised with the results.

    Now I feel 'bad' for getting "expedited" to only 92-93 business days in "Grading and authentication". Meanwhile, @Goldminers will be passing 100 business days next week.

    Wait, wut? I just fired up the ole computer to see an E-Mail from PCGS that grades are ready on a submission that's been trapped in QC for a month. Did PCGS hire some elves who are working on the weekend? I'm shocked (but do appreciate it).

    With such a long time turn around time, I wonder what would happen to the grade quality? I would not submit any coin at current turn around time. I can let them sit in the storage room to get more tuning before I submit them.

    I had a regular delivered Saturday and it is opened and entered already today Monday

    Coins are collected in Vegas and hauled back to OC to grade.

    I am very disappointed to report another week has gone by on these submissions. I was trying for the 3rd quarter PCGS box special, but probably way too late for that now. Maybe next year?

    I have previously put in a 10-qty order to get the special anniversary medal. Now what? a chance it won't finish by 12/31. That was the original reason for the 10-qty submission!

    I think you will have good luck with your order in spite of how long some of mine have taken. The Morgan and other eagle coin demand for grading this past 6 mo is more than usual and with Covid protocols they have been short-handed. I think this has slowed down and grading should be closer to normal going forward. I did get a box on one of my other orders that was late. As long as they still have the medals, I am pretty sure you will get one even if it is not graded well into January.

    I also think they are watching and I think there is an effort to get some of these older submissions completed before year end as I see than a couple of mine just moved to encapsulation! I hope @ms70 sees the same progress as he has some out there a real long time as well.
