Sounds like these are the sorts of cc issues that, if unresolved, lead to additional quantities being available in the days after.
Also, it would not surprise me if the mint normally tries to hit a declined card a second time later to see if it goes through.

You need to contact customer service at the mint your account has an error. Your internal and external e-mail address don't match. That is why all your orders show processing.
My email address hasn't changed in 27 years. It doesn't seem to cause a problem. They ship everything just fine.
I went through this last year with the mint when I wasn't getting the free shipping because all my orders were processing my external e-mail address (the one I login with) was correct. The internal e-mail the address associated with the mint profile had a typographical error. When the order status was updated it was never updating my account. When the error was corrected 5 years of orders went from Processing to Shipped with the correct shipping dates. I have received my free shipping without calling ever since.
Things ship correctly because your name and address is correct

Except I also get my free shipping. So, while this may have been your issue, I don't know that it is everyone's issue.
This "processing" error happened to me last year also. It rectified itself and now it's back.

I don't know. Maybe for the 1/10 and the 4 coin. The supply was pretty constrained on the others. I mean, as a individual offering, the 1/2 oz is about the same (1600) as the V75 AGE (1945). Those didn't stay consistently available for weeks. Same with the 1/4 oz at 2700. There are always a few cancellations/rejections early and the occasional return or something later. But I don't think there will consistently be much supply.

I nearly did just that this morning, clicking the top choice 4 coin set on the American Eagle program page shortly before 630 and not noticing it was the 2020 set (20EF). It was only a device/browser glitch at my end that prevented me from adding it to my cart and purchasing quickly. I went back and refreshed and still did not see (21EF) on the AE program page, had to click through from the 2021 product schedule.

So... how do the proof 2021 type 1 AGE mintages compare to previous years? I got the 1/4 Oz but do not see any value for flipping, unless your clueless and think these are rare... which they are not compared to previous year mintages. I am sure with the quick sell outs they will increase the type 2 mintages, making that even less attractive for flipping.

But @dennis1219 you are conflating 2 different issues: flipping potential and long term value.
Flipping potential is all based on what the current price is. For example the 2021-W silver proof eagle is not rare and is unlikely to go up. But right now, I can buy them from the Mint for $73 and flip them for $100+ all day long. 2 years from now, it might be worth $60. But who cares? I'll be out.
Your 1/4 is currently flippable at $800 to $850. It may well be worth half that 6 months from now.

Lots of mistakes in reporting the pricing from Coin World. Guess they were in a hurry.
In a matter of minutes on March 11, all five options for the Proof 2021-W American Eagle, Reverse of 1986 gold coins reached the “currently unavailable” stage, on the first day of sales.
“Currently unavailable” means product is not available now, but could be, should orders be canceled by the customer or if the Mint cancels an order because of payment issues, such as expired credit cards. The product resulting from such cancellations could go back into the ordering loop to fulfill demand.
The year’s first Proof American Eagle gold coins bear the legislated Family of Eagles reverse design executed by artist Miley Busiek, the original design introduced in 1986.
In mid-2021, as part of the Mint’s efforts to integrate anti-counterfeiting technology into the production process, the bureau will introduce a second type of Proof American Eagle gold coin, all exhibiting a new reverse design.
The newly implemented Authorized Bulk Purchase Program allowed the 18 participating dealers to place orders before March 11, each for a maximum of 45 of the four-coin sets and 25 of the single 1-ounce gold Proof coins.
Dealers qualifying for the ABPP have purchased $500,000 in U.S. Mint numismatic products for each of the last two years.
The prices for gold Proof coins purchased early included a 5 percent premium above the retail issue price, plus the cost of picking up the products March 8 at the Mint’s contracted order fulfillment outlet, PFSweb, in Memphis, Tennessee.
American Eagle gold coins bearing the new reverse design are expected to be released later this year in a variety of products. Mint officials have provided few details about the future products, although Proof versions are anticipated.
Both numismatic versions and the bullion coins will receive the new reverse design when it is ready.

Guess I was wrong about the advance sales having a material effect on PR Age availability. Anyway the 5% premium for the advance sale privilege and having to pick them up from Memphis probably caused many to ABPP's to balk.
