Well no duh! The coin belongs in a 55 holder! How did it ever get placed in a 50 holder?

The 1907-S in AU-55 is tied for third lowest pop along with the 1913-S at 6
Then the 1901-S at 5
Then the 1909-O at 4

It appears that neither of the above examples have a RPM. Here's my '07 S in a PC AU55 holder:

Overall, I think it went well. First zoom meeting I have been on in the last 5 months that has been by choice.

In 2013- 2014 BCCS conducted a Barber Quarter Variety survey; the 1900 Hub change varieties were included. There technically 4 combinations possible for each date:

Type I OBV with Type II REV
Type II OBV with Type II REV
Type I OBV with Type III REV
Type II OBV with Type III REV

The BCCS Survey Results do state that a single example of the 1900 and 1900 O Type 1/ III combination in Good condition were reported- the first ever. Why they weren't included in the totals is puzzling; perhaps there was doubt to their existence?

Although there seems be doubt if they actually exist, the 1900, 1900 O, and 1900 S Type I/ III all do. I either own, or have owned, all three.

Here's a new pickup, a 1900 O Type I OBV with a Type III REV in a NGC MS 61 holder:

I heard online it might have been "Tom" as the culprit. He may not have known how to mute himself since the collaboration technology was new for many BCCS members. Did you guys agree on my two questions asked of John Frost toward the end of the meeting? (1) Finish the dime variety survey that has been sitting on the BCCS website for quite a while and (2) let us have access to the Steve Hustad variety list (or see it) which has been updated greatly this year (big contributor @JeffMTampa)?

I think it would be worth it to finish. Im sure its lots of work though. Personally, I have never been much of a variety collector, but I think that over mint marks are neat. Do any exist in the barber series?

Just scored 5 out of 12 in a PCGS reconsideration submission. Yeah, baby! Here's one that a buyer decided to cancel the order on, so then I got in upgraded.

A very exciting NEWP for me! a desperate fill into my Barber Quarter XF set. This is a PCGS XF45+ 1892-S Type 1 Reverse (only one with a + grade at XF45). It is just about perfect in viewing pleasant-ness!...

Good call Jeff!, I may have found a second to one of your 1907-S/S/S RPM's

Steve Hustad agrees with Lenny on the shelf (machine) doubling. May cause an issue when trying to attribute it as a RPM. Requires more precise images for a full determination. Is it possible to still have a RPM as part of the die then have the shelf doubling additionally?

Hey Thanks Nic! Would absolutely enjoy meeting you at a real coin show! I miss Coin Shows!!!!! Well, that 1892 is really something.....It's a trophy coin for the Barber enthusiast. I would be very interested to know what the provenance was prior to it being in "The Type Set" Can you shed any light on that?

Tough to follow up the coins from previous posts, but someone has to take one for the team.

The BCCS Barber Quarter Variety project posted no reported examples of the 1900 Type I OBV/ Type III REV Quarter. The commentary seemed to question if it existed. Here's my example of the 1900 Type I/ Type III Quarter in a NGC AU55 holder:

The '93 S was purchased in a NGC MS61 holder and submitted raw to our hosts. It's one of the few coins I submitted to CAC, through our late friend Mike Hayes.

Many of the AU58 halves in my set came out of NGC MS holders.

Here's a coin recently returned from our hosts, a 1903 O Half now in a VF30 holder:

I purchased it because in the sellers listing photos it looked like there might be a RPM- there wasn't. I thought the coin would grade 35, and had a shot at a 40. Boy was I wrong. It's still a nice looking coin.
