In 2018 the United States Mint issued a Proof version.
In 2019 the United States Mint issued a Reverse Proof version.
In 2020 the United States Mint will issue an Uncirculated version.Each year's surface must be some material way different than the preceding year...

To clarify the above post...
The United States Mint Could do a Bullion coin version every year, However, we probably will never see another Bullion version because the Mint lost money the only year it did a Bullion version.
IF the United States Mint does a numismatic version...

Considering everything, they may just put a V75 privy on the next one and say it is different and costs even more
As far as price you can get the 2019 Rev PR direct from the mint still for $2,650.
I have to assume the 2020 will be more, so I will guess $2,800, crazy, but like all hard assets will be. The Fed will keep increasing the fiat supply, so other real things will cost more. 2020 will be a year to remember in infamy.

For the last RP (stunning!) Pd issue from the Mint, I was patient and lucky enough to find it for less than Mint issue price. In a holder, which I prefer.
I can be patient again and wait it out and take my chances. I do intend on buying one, though.

The Palladium price matrix has already been increased for 2020. The current matrix will be the same one used for the 2020 Palladium Uncirculated...

Last year's is still listed for sale at the Mint now for $2,850. That is a truly ridiculous price premium for uncirculated bullion of a metal that should drop significantly in value over the next several years, as we convert more and more to electric cars.
I can't imagine much upside buying this 2020 version, even if it does sell out the 10,000, compared to the over 17,691 that the 2019 proof sold so far.

I know only what is reported. Uncirculated is a "special" finish after a fashion. A unique finish that hasn't been used on a $25 Palladium ? Doesn't look like it.

Thank you ! Your explanation is better than any of the dozen or so I found via search. None answered the question sufficiently. I used several re-wordings as the search terms which usually prompts Google to cough up what I'm looking for. Other search engines failed utterly. I won't be using those again for anything.
