Sweetpie... might we hear one day the mint sold (500) units privately? Maybe we should place our buy offer now for spot + $5? What do you think? Wondercoin.
Lol I wished!
Did the Mint ever sells its leftover products at spot plus minimal fee?
If I recalled, that last batch of 2018 PD Eagles went for their "normal" online price?
Wasn't there also a "discovered" US Mint hoard of ASE leftover from a few years earlier?

How many more different finishes can they make? What's left? EU & colorized?
2021 will be a proof. The law just requires the finish to change from year to year. We could just alternate Proof/Reverse Proof/Uncirculated or just Proof/xxx/Proof/xxx/Proof/xxx...
my big question is, will this influence 2021 mintages? will they go even lower? 7500? 5000? they might need to w the persistently high price of palladium making these a bit of a stretch

That is the question. I think given palladium just has gone to crazy levels, which I think will not last even 3-5 years as electric, hydrogen, and other vehicles and generators replace more and more gas engines with Pd cat convertors. They can recycle the old convertor palladium now quite well, and gas prices are headed up, up, up this summer, so this last big palladium demand spike seems close to the euphoria top to me. I just sold my last spare to use the funds to get this 2021 for my set.
I sure do not see much potential for a quick 2021 sellout unless the mintage limit drops somewhere down into the ranges you selected. However it is a proof again, vs this unwanted 2020 uncirculated, might help a little.

yikes - always the trouble w pms - high price is great when ur holding, and awful when ur looking to buy - I can't imagine a scenario where I even attempt to get this; maybe if they only mint 1000 of em 🤷
happy to have the 2018 pf 70, not sure I need to spend 3× as much for the 2021 [special/enhanced?] proof
I have the first four but I’m not in for this year at these prices. Only reason I paid 3k last year was I rationalized the relatively cheap prices for the first three. It’s an attractive design (love liberty dimes also) but not at $3500+
I decided to hold off on the 2020 because I already have a similar finish in the 2017. And I am not a set collector. And I didn’t want to pay the initial Mint price where apparently I was wrong, it went up!

That price is about $2200 greater than I paid for the “other uncirculated” BU MS70 versions in 2017.
I am thankful I have what I do. Which doesn’t include that year, 2020. Most likely won’t include 2021 until the Price potentially comes down. I am not a set collector.
Whew.

At this rate, maybe the 2020 palladium final Mintage will give the 2020 gold privy a run for its money! 😂

LOVE that this # keeps going down — wonder if the 2021 mintage will be below 10,000
it's a race to the bottom.
care to guess a year with the maximum hits 3,000 ?
2024

I guess enhanced -> proof, reverse proof, unc. and then you can do them all over again painted
