That was quick. Since these were all minted in Dec 18 it's not a minting issue. Doubtful a packaging issue, so it means it is a big dealer or two+ who had some spare change.

Oh well, I should have a total of 36. I guess that'll have to do.

Took full advantage & ordered another "handful" It was not a surprise to me that this set had a quick sell-out The surprise was, that it took only 1 day.

I highly doubt they are sold out. Seems lately the Mint is behind in having all their product ready to go by sale date. It's an interesting coin, but not THAT interesting.

Perhaps......we shall see, no later by next Tuesday when the stats come out. I'm sure a few dribbles can be had for a while at 7AM daily. Also, if additional minting was required, the set would go on a......back order status....and not...unavailable

The mint has of late only produced "ready to ship" examples in a quantity to fill first couple of days estimated sales. Then they go to back order. Could be packaging needed or actual additional striking needed. Does the 5 oz Apollo ring a bell? Yes, a different situation but illustrates the trend.

Striking was completed Dec 2018. Maybe packing but doubtful. They forgot about this product last year due to government shutdown and didn’t get to the Federal Register on time.
The reference to Dec is from a previous post somewhere around here about a FOIA that was done by a member in another forum.
Another flippers dream
A $10 product that sells out quick
No limits,
It’s easy to double your money on a $10 product but you have to sell shi$loads of them to make it worth it
I was wondering what lies the TV coin hawker was going to say about this, priced at $59.95, more than six times his cost, he claimed to have purchased 25,000 sets, this would be the reason for the quick sell out. I guess if they don't sell on his show he will be sending them back to the mint. He also claimed to have bought over 600 at the ANA show for FDOI slabs, with the HHL set at five he must have been paying people to stand in line. Then waited a day to pick up the bulk order. What a joke...

That’s usually how it works. Paying others to get by around the HHL for FDOI, but when the limit is lifted... bang!
Right now there is a strong demand for these as raw OGP. Seems many people have the first intro coin and to be complete now need the second intro.
This is going to be interesting when the state PRs and RPs are released.
Received email notice that my 2d order placed on 8/15 ... is in "the mail." It appears, as mentioned before, that all 75k must have been available for shipment and most likely were minted last year.

If you believe that exaggeration of facts....well, silver will shoot up to $50 by Dec 31, 2019

Since they went unavailable on “opening” day +1 then the above number should be total sales for the first and second day. Very nice of someone(s) to buy them almost all up.

Picked up one AND the Proof (only 6.95)
Got a few more; and being under $10, makes for a
too easy purchase in buying too many.
Well an order of 10,000 that's $500...

Can't find too many offerings like this, would have been good if they kept it the same price as the PR.
Still debating the silver medal.
we need nurmaler for a stat

I WAS going to order some more tomorrow, too.
MCM was preselling NGC 70's last night already I got email from them with link to presale
I take credit for sending it over the edge as I bought one today when I ordered my silver Medal. I would imagine a few others followed my lead.
I ordered 5 Innovation sets. if there is a chance to get more, I will load up
Only ordered 2. Seems there is more interest in this series than I would have expected.

Interesting...they minted more than 25k over the 75k limit....

Who would’ve thunk this would clear out so quickly from the Mint and become so desirable.
Agree. We’ll see in the next few weeks just how many “collectors” of this series there are (maybe).
I do hope there is NOT a third introductory coin.
