Nice finds PPC.... I found three quarters in the coinstar last week.... I am going to have to start walking school parking lots... of course, they got covered by snow a couple days ago... and then plowed.... When spring comes, the snow pile areas (from plowing) are good to check....Cheers, RickO

Not a parking lot find, but I was given a 1961 silver dime in my change from the coffee shop in town this morning. That’s the second time this year. First one was a quarter from Costco a few months ago.

A dime inside the gas station. (Had to get one of my free drinks). As I was walking to my pickup I noticed a strip of 5 scratch off tickets. Checked them for winners as I always do and won a dollar. Don't know why they buy them if they don't look close. Not as good as Mesh's 2 Franklin's but Washington is better than nothing.

Took the wife out to eat. As we were walking into the restaurant I noticed something shiny on the opposite sidewalk. Told her I'd be right back. Came back with a Prez and Sac dollar, 2 quarters, dime, nickel and 2 pennies. That doubles the dollar coins that I've ever found. These coins were laying right on the side walk and I saw at least 2 people walk over them. Good for me.

Found my first coins today. A dime and a penny at a basketball game. On my walk this morning I found a string of thrown away scratch off tickets. Maybe 20 of them. Checked them this evening and low and behold there was a $10 winner in there
I would think if you spend the money for a ticket you would at least check them a little closer. O well good for me.1 -

I did get to detect for about 45 minutes on Thursday afternoon. We got snow yesterday and today. A dime nickel and penny on the floor of the convenience store when I got a pizza1 -

We’ve been lucky here in western Mass. No snow on the ground in mid-January is rare. Although, that is gonna change this weekend. Supposed to get 8-12”. No detecting til’ April.

Walked the HS parking lot on Saturday. A dime a nickel and 4 cents plus 3 tennis balls. Mowed at church in the afternoon a found a $20 bill along with other trash that blows over from the grocery store next door.

A dime, nickel and 14 cents at the city parking lot in one spot. Must not have wanted to have any change in their pocket. W_A I keep my finds separate for the year and save them up with metal detecting money for a gold coin. Preferably a lowball one.
