Top pop newp. 1859 triple punched 9, type 1 variety. Not the prettiest coin ever, but the only mint state example graded (or known). Next highest graded is AU-55.

Here's a cool, little coin. Struck at Philadelphia for Colombia. Mintage of 400,00. Odd silver fineness, 0.666. PCGS MS66 and strangely from the Kings Norton Mint Collection.
Another WWII era world coin struck in the U.S. Guatemala 10c, 1943. Struck at Philadelphia, mintage of 600,000. Also tied with two other coins, PCGS MS67. Neat coin.
Last one for this morning following the same theme. 1962 Liberia S$1. Struck at Philadelphia, mintage 1,000,000. Top pop at PCGS MS64. Interesting toning, really attractive in hand.
You would have to know this type to be impressed. Seen many hundreds maybe over 1000, and never saw an example even approaching this level of pristine. I've researched and matched the obverse and reverse dies to other examples with both types of c/m, most in typical scuffy condition, because the coin almost looks "too good". Bullion coin modeled after Austrian 4 ducats but struck in Belgrade with dies made in Paris. All were countermarked after striking which meant, of course, they had to be handled. Top pop for type at both services, Conservatively graded IMO, plus would almost certainly be called cameo Proof , not MS in Europe.

This is the 1673 halfpenny formerly in an NGC 65 slab. Somewhat optimistically graded for the reverse, and in any case is actually 1675 over 3 over 2, not 1673! Knowing there are a couple of people interested in this area, FYI, high grade Charles II halfpennies are a bit thin on the ground as at least 3 of the 11 slabbed 63 or higher are not, including a 64 PCGS.
This is the only one graded at PCGS, and at SP68. NGC has graded about a dozen, three in MS67 and none higher. Most of these are still raw, so "top pop" doesn't mean much.

Just remembered this one is Pop.1 in all grades.
Mine's apparently the only one graded, at PCGS, anyway.
So by default, this AU58 is top pop.
Collector since 1976. On the CU forums here since 2001.

A total of two at PCGS and two at NGC in 66RB. None graded in "RD" designation at any grade. None graded higher than 66.
