My tracking shows for delivery by end of day tomorrow.
Same here. UPS sent me an e-mail alerting me so I'll be home waiting for it.

Well I don't know what is up with mine. Ordered withing the first couple of minutes and still processing. CC was pending until this morning now the charge isn't showing.
So mine was suppose to arrive yesterday but because of some power outage at the facility it was delayed and I paid for express shipping. I'm picking it up today at the ups location, anyone ask for compensation or partial refund because of their delay?
My friend already received his package. Damn
Just went to pick up my coin and I asked UPS if their any compensation for the late shipping and he asked me to ask the shipper so I guess not.

Ordered early...shipped early....original UPS tracking showed delivery tomorrow (Wed)...now changed to 7/8 (Friday)...WTF?...it will get here whenever it gets here...but sooner would be better

One of my coins arrived today. It is REALLY a beautiful coin. The quality of my first one at least is fantastic.
To my surprise it was actually very well packaged. It was in the usual box however instead of the usual brown paper there were two styrofoam spacers. Very solid packing job.
Man Backroad that looks NICE!!!
My 15 is slabbed so can't put them together. I'm keeping the 16 in the OGP.

Something tells me that the 2015-W will be in high demand.
Question - did it come with the same packaging as last year?
Same exact packing as last year but better packaged in the box per my prior post.
As I said last year, I love the OGP on this one.
Such a fantastic two year series!!!
The only difference in the packages is the outer sleeve which has the year on it. The inner box and presentation box are both dateless, making it perfect for the two year set...

I posted earlier how my packaging was terrible and could see a coin going missing very easily!
First pic with arrow shows what little contact was made with glue on cardboard, about a dime size tear of paper on glue when opened. Could of easily been opened and closed even better than the first time with a little more pressure to seal.
Invoice was jammed in, but luckily my coin arrived in beautiful condition!
Mine seems to be traveling the countryside before thinking about getting here:

Just opened mine and am happy with the quality; A beautiful coin that looks like a 70 to me. Took a quick pic so forgive the lint/hair on capsule and notice the metal flow lines at the bottom. Obverse is far less cameo than reverse as reported elsewhere.
If it really bothers you to the point of returning it, open the capsule and blow at it with some compressed (canned) air to see if it goes away. If you're going to return it, call the mint to see if they're going to use the cancels as replacements, and reserve a replacement. (They may not. They may just credit your CC once they get your return.)
I've been thinking about trying to blow out those two pieces of lint in mine, but I'd rather not open a proof capsule... Why is it I get lint in my capsules?

If you even get so much as moist breath on the plat coin, it will develop black tarnish very quickly.

I'm afraid the lint will spot-tarnish the coin.
And no, I'd never breath on a proof of any type. Back in the day, I used to use a bulb to de-lint negatives in the darkroom, but I've graduated to canned air...

Coin itself is beautiful, the packaging was a joke! Invoice was crammed in by some animal
who doesn't know how to close a box. The box opened very easy and about 90% of the glue
didn't even make contact with the box. Panic set in at first but luckily the coin was inside.
The Mint really needs to start using tape again!
Can someone please post a pic? Thanks
You're too late, dropped mine off today to our hosts.
I will say I was happy with the quality.

lol, I think the shortest time I ever had a coin was just under an hour from being delivered by UPS to having it in the hands of the postal service.
Mine should be here today. I will resist the urge to have her entombed.

2 shipped fast, one today, one still waiting.
NOT being done in sequential order....
The reverse seems more heavily frosted than the obverse...

I should have kept one of my 15s raw so that I could do same. I just couldn't pass up the huge flip.
Platinum approaching $1100.
Amazing spike in such a short time.
I have renewed interest in my set now that it is complete!

Seems as if every year or two we get this story. "My mint sealed box had no coin!" I've heard it a few times over the last ten years anyway.

I never heard it before. But I'm kinda new around here.
Anyway, I expect it's exceedingly rare.

Returned my coin today. Poorly produced Proof. Obverse die scratches (not plastic holder). Disappointed.
Wait a few months and you can buy a 70 for a little over issue price.

Which would only be helpful if you know what the package should weigh with the coin...
We've seen they weigh ASE tubes, I wonder if they do the same for sets like this.
(It's not that I don't believe the poster, but I have no reason to believe him, either.
I didn't buy any so I predict a profit for those who did.

Now it's around $750/oz, give or take a little.
Past prices don't necessarily mean anything. So what's the outlook for Gold or Platinum?
Gold is seen as a hedge. Platinum or Rhodium is not.

I use a Q-tip.
If you can get one from the Mint, you will pay $50 more than issue.

Assuming Spot Platinum does not fall by $50-$60 Mon-Wed, it'll be $1450 on the 13th.
