Looking at the US Mint listing for these, under the "purchasing information" tab, it says -
<<Shipping is expected to begin in late July 2012.>>
Just thought you guys would like to know, not sure if it has been said or not...
The USM replied via twitter to me that the sales counter will be in effect and they will be minting to demand. Check it out here if interested. You may have to scroll down a bit

A 7 day return policy. >>
And what exactly do they do with the returns? since the onsale is over already. Lets all return a 100k sets and then the mint can sit on them.

I think the best thing about the way the mint is doing this is, since it's an open enrollment / ordering for one month starting early June, the pre-sale, pre-delivery offer contracting you as a buyer, if you are stupid enough to agree, and become a seller via an email agreement to adhere to won't be offered.
<< <i>Can the mint raise the price (from issue) if silver moves much higher after ordering??? >>
The Mint can cancel the order. Happened to me with 2011 silver mint sets. Had to "reorder" at the higher price. >>
Wow, I ordered 2011 AGEs just before a price increased and had them ship after yet another price increase which, if I remember right, was a 2 level increase. They arrived, no problems at all. In fact, I believe there was another price increase when I returned a couple for replacement and I still got them for the original price. At that point, I believe they were $200 higher than when I placed the order. You would think they would have cancelled the order if they could.

If the order is in prior to the increase, even if they are "backordered", and there are no problems with the order (ie, bad CC info, etc, that would make a reorder potentially necessary), then they don't cancel them and make you reorder. I had some ordered prior, and got them post increase, and I dind't have any price change nor other issues.
The mint already made their money on that prior price, so if the order is in, they honor it.
They have MANY problems, but suggesting they cancel and make you reorder at the higher price is not an issue they do.
Probably be a glut of the reverse proof 70 S on the market initially. Wonder if it would be better to just pick these off instead of buying the set from the mint. If 70 reverse proofs sell for $150 probably so.
I suppose we will have to leave these sealed to submit PCGS First Strike. That will kill most returns to the mint. Labels likely to be the same as 2011? There not likely to get them all delivered in the first 30 days, so late orders may not make first strike deadline?
So why would these two unique coins need to be submitted sealed? I think not.....
First strike deadline should not be an issue if you order in the 1st week of availability... late orders by definition would be "late" so probably not eligible for first strike

Because the regular proof has been released already. So to get the two coin set on any label will require the sealed box to be submitted.

The proof in the set has a S mint mark, which is different from the regular proof, so no sealed box required.
Once the Mint starts shipping, I wonder how many sets they can ship in the first 30 days? Or will all sets be shipped with in 30 days and be eligible for first strike!

That would be sweet. I will probably buy too many at that price though!
I was thinking 125-130 but with the expected high mintage you may be right.

The price of silver is much lower now.

After ordering, your price is locked. However, new orders could move up or down.

I've been told I tolerate fools poorly...that may explain things if I have a problem with you. Current ebay items - Nothing at the moment
Box of 20
That will kill most returns to the mint.

I wonder if PCGS will have 15 different labels this time around?????? Ok, so I exaggerated a little!!!
Or will all sets be shipped with in 30 days and be eligible for first strike!
