Thank You CCC2010 very nice words now I can start my day feeling like a Million Bucks!
Any body getting their medal set today my order sais it will be here tonight! Ohhh Boy I am excited!
That is fast shipping..
If you choose overnight air, they generally ship immediately and they arrive next day. It's actually quite a bargain on expensive orders and makes it easier to track.
that makes two P versions, a single proof and a reverse proof from the set. Makes a nice two coin set. Unfortunately only one of them gets a "set" label.
Repetition of ignorance is ignorance raised to the power two.

I bet now the Big Boys are moving in with their unlimited spending ability swooping ALL that's left. How long before their SOLD OUT?
A very very long time..
Collecting 1970s Topps baseball wax, rack and cello packs, as well as PCGS graded Half Cents, Large Cents, Two Cent pieces and Three Cent Silver pieces.
IF they get down to $100 on the secondary market, I'll probably buy one because they are cool looking. I don't think they'll get there that fast, though. You aren't going to have that many people dumping them. They sold 16,000+ probably to 10,000+ people. How many sales are there going to be?

You guys are making it sound like I am a two (2) time LOOSER!
If you like it and want to own it, you are fine. Nothing wrong with buying something you like. IF you bought it expecting the price to shoot up...that may have been a mistake. Time will tell. But if you look at the history of Mint Medals, they generally do not appreciate in value over time. There just aren't enough people who collect them.

once people see the pre-sale auctions flop, you will see the first day sales returns pour in. the 2017 EU set just might sell out before this set does

HHL is off.

I'm sure they only have a few left to sell.
Don't quote me on that.
In case someone thought otherwise, I can confirm that there are more than 9,999 sets available.
I'll bet there are a whole lot more than 9,999 available. Just a guess.
Got a couple more but with free shipping this time(Use" Anniversary" code at check out) ..
Has anyone seen a sales report? Shall we guess at 1st day sales? My guess is 12,000
gonna be some expensive silver in the aftermarket after cost of grading gets added in.
Fifth medal for the set still available

Was this on the Mint schedule??
Got the email shipping notice
Went on sale in June
My guess is 40,500.
Don't quote me on that.
Hmmmm....30,750
The single P one yes

If you are a slab collector this is probably one to buy already encased rather than submit your own...
They are doing a 1/10 ounce gold of this as a coin early next year.
8,000
Coin World is reporting 16,794.
coinworld: American Liberty 225th Anniversary Silver Four-Medal set sales total 16,794 on first day
That's pretty bad...
Edit: The article is dated October 17, 2017, which is obviously wrong. If someone from Coin World is reading this, you may want to fix it.)
Yup...that sucks
1/3 of mintage limit on the first day doesn't predict a sell out any time soon.....if at all. I think it will be available well into the new year.
Max mintage of 25k would have been gone in 10 minutes
went a little bit beget than I would have thought. It's a MEDAL after all, with a high price point
I doubt it. Its still a medal. 25,000 is stl a lot when there are no albums to fill
12.5k was also a medal and that did pretty well
12.5k?
Did it Sell Out? Am I to Late to BUY MORE?
The two 2016 American Liberty medals (S&W) were 12.5K mintage (total 25K) and sold out in a couple of minutes.
'Course people like the design of that medal a whole lot more...
Exactly...
I bet now the Big Boys are moving in with their unlimited spending ability swooping ALL that's left. How long before their SOLD OUT?
Yes, but that only proves that the market for medals is in the same 16k range as they sold of this issue.
If you tell me 12.5k limit would have sold out in minutes, ill believe it
Big boys aren't messing with them at all.
Definitely a lower price on secondary market in the near future. Predictions? $125
Successful Trades: Swampboy,
Returns in the next few weeks won't help.
And I'm sure this set will be packaged in a very big box! A box in a box in a sleeve then in another box.
100

I would pick up a set at $100. Probably not a cent over that though.

POST NUBILA PHOEBUS / AFTER CLOUDS, SUN

well, if silver goes to $40 per ounce, I'd pay $125.
Wai..whaa?
It's a MEDAL?
Not a non circulating legal tender Coin?
Geez
Liberty: Parent of Science & Industry
Yep, four medals, not coinage.
Look on the bright side - it’s these types of failures that makes the mint shrink mintages of future sets.
