Been dry for weeks but finally today $.55 cents clad, $.35 cents Canadian, a 1944 wheatie, 1952 Roosevelt and 2 well-worn Barber dimes, 1902 and a dateless. Hard to beat free gutter. RGDS!

One dime-sized 10 Sen issued by the Malaysian government (copper-nickel), mintage of almost 79 million. Obverse features Malaysia's national flower, the Hibiscus. Reverse depicts Congkak which, according to numista.com, is "a game of Malay origin for two consisting of a board which has several houses and storehouses." Not silver, very crusty, but a new country found for me!
First finds in a while last night at the local grocery store. Two Canadian dimes and a 1939 cent in good shape. I used the dimes when I paid the cashier which is normal around these parts.
The local supermarket Coinstar machine has produced less material since it was moved next to the employee break room.
Today I walked by it and saw two obviously not US coins in the bottom.
One was a Russia (Soviet Union) 15 Kopeck coin dated 1987.
The other was a token issued by the Sears Company (Sears, Roebuck and Company) in 1986 celebrating the 100th anniversary of the Statue of Liberty and the 100th anniversary of the founding of the company.
It was made from copper extracted from the restoration of the statue which started in 1982 and was completed in 1986.
Token - Statue of Liberty and Sears Company Centennials
Copper, 23.0 mm, 4.44 gm
Obverse:
Statue Of Liberty head facing
CONTAINS AUTHENTIC MATERIAL
1886 - CENTENNIAL - 1986
LIBERTY
(Registered)(Copyright) 1982 SL/EIF, Inc. (Statue of Liberty / Ellis Island Foundation)
Reverse:
Radiating lines and large "100"
CELEBRATING SEARS NEW CENTURY 1886-1986
No shutout for October, 1959D (all by it's lonesome else) - I love when I get something else but a 1964, but I'll take all the silver that I can get...
I posted this in the other Coinstar thread.... Have to put it in the 'Official' thread. Cheers, RickO
Well, a bonanza yesterday. Coinstar reject slot full....$5.50 in dimes, $2.25 in quarters, .20 in nickels, and a 1977 Kennedy half dollar - Total $8.45. No silver, but nice haul overall. Cheers, RickO
Well, I had some luck today.
No silver but a dollar's worth of change: 2 quarters,1 dime and 8 nickels.
One of the quarters was a nice bicentennial with a slight purple hue.
The machine rejected 9 of my Kennedy halves each and
every time I put them in.
They were not damaged or discolored.
I did pour in $160.00 in halves.
I wonder if I filled up the halve bin. LOL

Went out looking for a flu shot today at the local pharmacy, they told me to schedule online. No luck on the shot but good luck in the coinstar, it's been a while since I've found any silver and wheaties.

@ricko — second time I fingered a Coinstar, first find; half-stuck to the top part of the feeder tray in the dark—gives me a mucilaginous idea.
That bone maw is a moose jaw that I hacked on.
@Joe_360 ... Someone dumped their nickel jar.... My wife got tired of me piling my pocket change on the bureau, and got a bunch of screw top jars for me... So I sort my change and drop it in separate jars. So likely that individual had a similar situation. Nice haul... Cheers, RickO
The last week or so has been nothing but empty Coinstars.... However, funny event... Yesterday I passed the Coinstar on the way out. A fellow was dumping large amounts of coins in... and the coins were also filling the reject slot. He was also taking them out and resubmitting them. As I passed, I said "Hold on, I will take all the rejects.".... He laughed, I laughed .... Cheers, RickO

Nice haul from the coinstar.... Silver is good ... old silver is good and interesting. Cheers, RickO

Leaving a local supermarket last week, [I stopped to pick up some Ben & Jerry's for my wife]
and saw a coinstar.
Finally!
And finally found a coin!
Nope, not in the reject slot.
On the floor in front of it.
One lonely 2022 Lincoln cent.
ugh.

I love finding silver, but I love it even better when it's a quarter (1962 P)!!! Plus 92 cents in change!!!
I am still amazed at the find I got yesterday, just not quite ready to share if ever.
@SaorAlba.... I am curious.... PM me with details if you do not want it public. Cheers, RickO

The suspense is killing me. Please share. Thanks.

I've always had confusion trying to determine what the statement ONE PER VISIT meant . . . .
Do I have to survive the first visit to redeem, or are they just concerned for my welfare and making sure I can fully benefit?

@Treashunt... That Taco token looks like a DDO and a DDR.... Cheers, RickO
I love Tacos but the nasty tone on the obverse kind of ruined it for me. Nothing a quick dip couldn't cure. RGDS!
I thought so too, but then ... I thought again and figured it was part of the design.

In the feeder with 17¢ more. First.

No silver just a bunch of Nickels, the coin star return looked like a slot machine....

Just like @Joe_360 , I found 34 nickels todays... no cents, dimes, nor quarters. Mostly 2000s - 2022, but there was a '46
