74 cents in super sticky American change and a Barbados mini cent - in a coin machine I usually never find anything in because it is parked right in front of the store in a well lit area.

Silver is good... silver dimes are the only silver (other than a couple of old Canadian coins) I have found in the coinstar...no quarters....Nice haul. Cheers, RickO
At the home grocery store this morning, I found this in the parking lot about 50 feet from the Coinstar Machine (which is inside the store, of course):
I'm guessing this was discarded by someone after a trip to the Coinstar... Coinstar has been very dry for finds lately!
Coinstar has definitely been dry lately.... been a month or more since I have found anything at all.... Well, holidays are coming, and people will be emptying their jars and sock drawers of change... Cheers, RickO
Doing some cleaning recently - found a pile of change from about ten years ago & knew it was at least 50 dollars face. I took that to the bank on 11/08/2018 - didn't care to give Coinstar five or six or seven dollars in fees. I believe that group included two rolls of unc. 1961-D Lincoln cents and four dollars in unc. 2004-D Jefferson "Peace Medal" Nickels. The rest was well-circulated modern (included pre-1982 copper cents). However, the home grocery store still got some business from these proceeds!

I seem to remember you could get 100% if you took it in Amazon gift cards. Was that true and is it still?
Well the long drought has ended..... Found three quarters (SHQ), one Canadian dime and an Angel token..... Not much, but beats nothing at all... Let the season begin.... Cheers, RickO
The coinstar has been dry for two weeks... However, I found a quarter in the market parking lot and three cents at the local ice cream shop parking lot...Good thing I have other sources of income.... Cheers, RickO
Oh many many thank youse to the Coinstar deities...12/4 @ the home grocery store!
3 silver Roosies, one Canadian nickel, a Scheels token, and the highly-coveted Chuck E Cheese token! Roosies dated 1950, 1961 and 1964, all Philadelphia; Canada five cent dated 1964, and Chuck E Cheese dated 2009. Scheels token is undated, although it does have an HM Mint mark (Hoffman Mint, I think).
This is the first time that I ever got more than one silver coin in a single haul!

Great haul... silver is always good... I have found (in the past) several silver dimes...Once there were two...mostly just one at a time. Cheers, RickO
Saturday I walk by my neighborhood coinstar and see that the reject bin is empty but then notice that the feeder tray has about $20 in change in it. No one was around so I approached it and suddenly a woman runs up to me and starts hollering about not touching her money. I said no problem and said I thought it was kinda strange thing to see and walked away leaving her to it.
Sunday - I again see the reject bin empty but sitting next to the feeder tray was a sandwich bag full of coins. I walk over to the machine and wait for a few minutes to see if the same lady would come running up and start hollering...nope...so I pick up the bag and see they are mostly foreign coins but did spy a silver dime and a bunch of Canadian coins. Score! A 1947 silver dime and about a bucks worth of Canadian and a few Lincolns. The rest were from Guatemala and Costa Rica.

Reached into one today. All I got was sticky fingers. Had to wash my hands.
I got a dime and two cents today. No silver.
Local Walmart: 9 late date dimes and 12 Lincolns. No silver or wheaties.
2 dimes and a nickel, all modern.
I got a '56 Wheatie out of the 'take a cent, leave a cent' tray yesterday... still nothing in coinstar slots... Cheers, RickO

I kind of got 62 cents. A nickel, a Canadian dime worth 8 ¢ usd and the winner 1/2 Swiss franc worth 50¢ in exchange to usd.
26 cents in sticky coins. Nothing special.
Not even any sticky zincolns... such a long drought.... Cheers, RickO
Back in the saddle again, out where a friend is a friend, where the longhorn cattle feed on the lonely gypsum weed..
The '64-D dime caught me eye from afar, the wee glint of silver!

Only find today was a 1941 cent. But better than nothing.

A seriously corroded steel cent and a German euro cent were the finds this week.
I seem to remember you could get 100% if you took it in Amazon gift cards. Was that true and is it still?
If I don't want to give Coinstar 11%, why would I care to give Mr. Bezos his 50%?
