Thank you for your input helped me make my new order. I would love to see that confederate coin I was just reading up on them very rare to find one today.
Are the KOTCT medals subscription only? I've never seen them available anywhere but here and on ebay in the secondary market. Are they ever listed on Dan's website?
Q: Are You Printing Money? Bernanke: Not Literally
the 1964 peace dollars are worth more than 1965 dollars but I think depending on how many he makes the 1918 enhanced obverse will do better than 1917 dollars

Not a subscription and not for sale on Dan's website. It's a custom order by the KOTCT. And at this late date, the window for direct purchase of 2017 Medals is closed.
The process ("Quest") for the 2018 KOTCT Medals should begin in a few months. It's easy to join this group buy.
First, register on the KOTCT website. It's free to register.
Then watch for the 2018 Medallion Quest. It'll appear on the KOTCT Home Page... scroll down to "Medallion Quests".

Which one would be the better one to buy?
1. "1918" Peace Silver Dollar "Broken Sword" over-strike, High Relief, WW1 100th Anniversary Sold out on the other one so I missed that one or?
2. "1907-D" Saint-Gaudens Winged Liberty, 999 Silver Concept, 1 troy oz. its a bit cheaper just wondering what the Professional Dan Carr buyers think? These 2 seem like their special in their own way buy I want more dont know which one to buy!!!! TYIA
1918 for sure. His nice overstrikes usually do better than his "creations". I'm not sure if the resell value will be hurt by creating too many of the broken sword peaces, only time will tell. I think he posted at one time he wanted to do one more date of them after this.
Next year there will be a "1919", and the year after that "1920". Both of those will be "Broken Sword" over-strikes. Also in 2020 I might do a "1970" over-strike (normal reverse) because that will be the 50th anniversary of the supposed test strikes of 1970-dated Peace Dollars that were made by the US Mint (and then destroyed) for the purpose of testing large dollar copper-nickel clad pieces (in preparation for the 1971 Eisenhower dollar).
Then in 2021 it will be the 100th anniversary of the last Morgan Dollars and the first Peace Dollars. I might do a "MCMXXI" roman-numeral Peace Dollar over-strike. But my main objective for the Morgan and Peace anniversaries is to do 2-oz 999 50mm silver rounds in a format similar to this:
but with wording similar to this:
After that, I think I'll be done with Peace Dollars since I'll have made almost as many different dates of Peace Dollars as the US Mint
Or maybe I'll add one more - a "1936" proof to go with a US Mint 1936 proof set.

Got this one yesterday. It's the Bronze Proof-Like 2009 Riding Liberty, Color-Toned, Antiqued piece. Less than 5 exist.
When you state, "less than five exist" does that mean it has a mintage of four?
892 of that type were originally minted, all in copper with a proof-like finish.
As I remember, of those 892, 3 or 4 were given a post-strike antiqued/color finish like that.
Once in a while I will issue a separate product with an alternate finish (antiqued, color-toned, burnished, circulated, or some combination of those). If issued as a normal product, I will give them a separate catalog number. In other cases I may take a piece that has a slight blemish and experiment with it and maybe create an attractive finish rather than destroying it. Sometimes they come out so-so and sometimes they come out amazing. I don't keep track of the total production of these unlisted finishes except they are included in the total regular mintage and the number is small. Sometimes I will sell one or two here or there.
Here is one of the best results (color-toning on a semi-prooflike copper):

Dan said this "892 of that type were originally minted, all in copper with a proof-like finish.

So it could be 3 or it could be 4 which means less than 5 exist.
I am wondering if Dan has made any Aluminum coins or has any plans to do so ?
Any body have Aluminum examples or know of one? Maybe a Club commissioned piece?
Ditto, don't know why I popped for that one - and also got the bronze St. Gaudens as the silver just didn't look right, especially with the stamp across the rays on reverse.
Love that Milled British (1830-1960) Well, just Love coins, period.
2017 4th SCD Fellowship Get Together Medal by Daniel Carr 35mm Aluminum
Final mintage of 50
Obverse design from die used for HK-353 by George Morgan
Reverse / Legend
Published by Jeff Shevlin and struck at the Moonlight Mint Loveland CO by Daniel Carr
That's a nice piece, and I have several shown below (not including the aluminum), but the die is different from and larger than HK-353.
Check out my discovery thread here. It looks like a previously unknown die that hasn't been cataloged before and I haven't seen any original tokens from this die yet. So the hunt is on!
Here are my four. Of interest, the rarest piece here is the copper antiqued piece with only 4 made and mine looks like it's a struck through grease error, the only one I've seen from Dan on any issue.
Just ran across this Dan Carr wearable medal from the 2017 Denver Comic Con. This shares an obverse design with the 2018 Amero. As a So-Called Dollar collector, it's nice to see a wearable medal.
@dcarr This looks cool. Did anyone wear them at the con?
I looked for these on the Moonlight Mint catalog but couldn't find them there. I'm curious how may were made and if all the ribbons were the same color or not.

I thought a small counterstamp in the sun would have looked decent.

Buy what you like, not what might be a long-term profit.
Of coarse buy what you like but if you buy certain items you can see a increase in your investment da !

The Quest is lengthy and takes many months, like this: http://kotct2017.knightsofthecointable.org/index.php?topic=5217.0
Successful BST transactions with forum members thebigeng, SPalladino, Zoidmeister, coin22lover, coinsarefun, jwitten, CommemKing.
So, this a case of who do I have to kill to get one?
I bought a few on Ebay. Pav33355 he/she sells alot but your going to pay out for one. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Daniel-Carr-2007-Knights-of-the-Coin-Table-Medal-Proof-Finish-Copper-ANACS-MS69/323014900683?_trkparms=aid=222007&algo=SIM.MBE&ao=2&asc=49893&meid=356457554883431ca93d8f66b612ecf5&pid=100005&rk=4&rkt=6&sd=173119666284&itm=323014900683&_trksid=p2047675.c100005.m1851

You are awesome Mr. C!
21?
You mean like a high relief 21?
The MCMXXI, 1936 proof and 1970 peace dollars would be fun!
I would of loved to join but I'm not human enough to answer this verification question, ''If blue = blue / red =:''
You can do it

Is this a Daniel Carr piece?
https://www.ebay.com/itm/1915-Daniel-Carr-Token-Walking-Liberty-O-S-Rare-US-Coins-AK3863/202218757837
Dan made bag handled and antiqued versions of the 1915-S, but that doesn't look like either.
I'm a fan
Crazy Hound nice pictures thank you for sharing!
Pictures to big , wont load.
bars with an automatic rainbow
not a carr overstrike
likely a contemporary counterfeit.
I don’t think it is one of mine because the lower loop of the 5 isn’t the right shape.
I sent a message to the seller.
And the second 1 is fat and leaning.
I'm a fan also.
Cool examples, @Bullsitter.

Nice pick up @Bullsitter!
I didn't realize Dan did 3 different obverses for this year until just now: yours, with wings, and with wings and rays.

Another one back from the plastic factory. Happened to wake up in the middle of the night when these went live on Dan's site.
I've pestered him to make some aluminum cents
Thanks for the Aluminum replies
That is some mighty pretty plastic ! Here is one of mine that just returned...
Just received my shipping notice this morning for the 1918 "Broken Sword" !

It would appear that the final mintage of the original silver is 94.
