    Great set!

If you're looking for the protection of a capsule, the Airtite Y-50mm is a near-perfect fit.

If necessary to keep it snug, I insert a sliver of the black stuff.

Are the 1884-CC canceled die strike offerings from Moonlight Mint sold out?

I was just able to add one to my cart so I am guessing not yet.

    .

    I think there's one left.

    ...and then there were none.
Listed as out of stock today.
What a fantastic offering these vintage canceled die strikes were! Thank you to all that made it possible!

I just noticed that an old 2006 quarter prototype from DC seems to be losing its color, or is changing. I wonder if it is chemically reacting to the coin flip it came in?

Got grades from my January ANACS submission. Have some big rarities going to them at Long Beach too for the next submission.

From these, the low mintage ones are:

No Date (ND) cancelled reverses mule -- 23 made
1884-CC Cancelled die pair on 1-oz Ag -- 25 made
2017 Total Solar Eclipse on Color Toned Copper -- 24 made

Another interesting one is the 2021 MMOH struck on a 1923-S VAM-1C Top 50 Peace Dollar.

Nice grades! Was your submission in early January? I'm waiting for my Jan 18th submission.

And I've got a bunch of Carr pieces to submit at Long Beach -- including these vintage die Commemorative Tokens:

Or are they Medals? Delorey-71 (reverse) and Delorey-71 (obverse).

Thanks for posting. I didn't know pickup at the Long Beach Show was an option. A bonus if it eliminates the return shipping charge. Hopefully my coins are ready in time and I can make pickup arrangements.

It does eliminate the return shipping. I often try to submit and pickup (one or both) with PCGS and ANACS at shows to reduce that overhead hit. Can't always avoid it though.

If you look in Dan’s minted items catalog under the heading” Club Medals “ you’ll find the 2020 Wilson Dollar commemoratives. In that list you’ll see ( SCD _2020A_OS),”1 2 14”, with a mintage of 150 .
Here’s the “genius“ of Dan............. if you look up #14 it states that these over strikes were done on “ various items, such as Morgan$ Peace$ Ike$ 90% halves and quarters........... and various other medals and tokens. The “genius “ part is out of that 150 minted, Dan made most of that 150 very rare pieces, ( of which I’m guessing were only about 5 pieces of each kind)‼️‼️‼️I’m pretty sure on the Benjamin halves Dan struck 5 pieces with Wilson’s observe on the Franklin observe, then Dan took 5 more Franklins and struck the Wilson obverse on the Franklin reverse ( Liberty Bell side),So out of ten Franklin halves, there are really just 5 pieces of each kind‼️‼️‼️‼️
And I have a feeling he did the same thing with the Kennedy halves and so on ‼️
So I have some pics of these Wilson O/S I’m posting. So out of that 150 O/S, all of them have only 5 or so that are the same, this

is what I think, I could be wrong, Dan can correct me if I am, and I hope he does because I don’t know for sure‼️
I think Dan’s work is the best of all that’s out there‼️‼️👍‼️🎯🎯👀‼️‼️
And I also have to say this about these O/S pieces.... they all seem to have their own characteristics,( each kind of denomination is a little different from each piece of the same denomination he used), I noticed especially in the Morgan and Peace dollars he used‼️‼️🎯🎯‼️‼️It just blows my mind ‼️‼️👍👍👍👀‼️🎯🎯‼️‼️

Here is an extremely funky "2020 Wilson", so to speak.

It is a 2020 Wilson Commemorative overstrike of a 1964 Kennedy Half. If that wasn't enough, it was then overstruck again with the 2020 Moonlight Mint Open House die pair.

I have highlighted in yellow places where you can still see SOME of the underlying 1964 Kennedy Half. The Kennedy Half was struck flipped over with the Wilson obverse struck into the Kennedy reverse.

Jeff Shevlin commissioned those. He supplied the items to over-strike. But yes, some kinds had 5 to 10 produced.
I did not keep track of the total for the individual kinds. I only noted the combined total of all the over-strikes.
