I saw this picture of a Dollar coin It's not a hemisphere by any stretch. The half dollar may be less of a dome. I haven't found a good profile shot of the half yet.

I think the process is as follows: o US Mint issues tracking numbers and transmits them to the shipper. o The next day the tracking numbers appear in the shipper's tracking system. o Shipment then takes 2-3 days. This implies a Wednesday through Friday delivery. But that's not long away. We will be eager to see the pictures.
Shipped. One order, three different tracking numbers. One is the bag but I have no idea how they broke down the rest of the order. Maybe one box is silver and one is gold? Wish I knew which one was which because I would probably leave the gold ones unopened for now. Oh well, should be here tomorrow then off to our host.

when the shipping goes live, use the declared package weight (depending on what you ordered).
Anybody else have their silver orders in "hold" status. It's weird, but the only silver that I have "in process" are the ones that are a part of my gold orders. Seems like the mint is making the gold their priority. My first order at 12:03 shows as shipped. Subsequent two gold orders are all "in process," the last of which was orders around 2:30pm first day.

What a bunch of idiots at the Mint. They shipped my first order in 3 different packages. The bag arrives today and either the gold or silver were shipped Friday and arrives tomorrow. The other PM was shipped today but doesn't show up on UPS tracking. This is almost unbelievably stupid.

My first order has 3 tracking numbers. The first tracking number was my "reusable bag" which arrived Friday. Yes, I had to sign for it. The second tracking number, the box just arrived at the house. My wife is home today and signed for it. I don't have a clue if the contents are silver, gold or a variety thereof until I get home. My wife is well versed never to open a box from the mint.

2014-P Proof National Baseball Hall of Fame Silver Commemorative Coin Available in uncirculated and proof qualities, the 2014 Baseball Hall of Fame Silver Commemorative Coins are nearing a sellout
The silver coins would join the $5 gold commemoratives which officially sold out one week ago. Plenty of 50-cent clad coins are available. The series of coins launched on March 27 and celebrate the diamond anniversary of the National Baseball Hall of Fame.
New sales figures as of 9:30 a.m. today, April 7, have the Baseball Silver Commemorative Coins at 366,340, or 33,600 shy of the maximum 400,000. Demand remains strong with 137,815 more sold since a week ago, suggesting the silver coins could become unavailable very soon. There¡¯s no chance they will not sell out.
Sales of the 50-cent clad coins went up 52,621 for a new total of 164,001, leaving 585,999 left from the higher 750,000 mintage.

This order included gold unc. and pf and silver uncirc and pf. A second, later order, shows shipping for everything except for silver uncirc.

UPS 2nd Day Air will get you your order 2 business days after they get the coins (live tracking number)

Well, 11:05 Central Time. (12:05 Eastern).
I'm close enough to the fulfillment center to get my UPS 2nd day the next day. (At least that's how it's worked for the past few years...

Check your UPS tracking. Mine says both shipped 4/7 however one of the coin orders ( NOT THE BAG )
shipped Friday. and will be here tomorrow. The other is not live in the UPS system yet.
My order is for pair of gold and pair of silver.
The one that left Sat. departed from Indianapolis and shows weight of 0.90 lbs.
Now to figure what is in each box without opening them.
Also when looking up my order on the mint site it shows all four items as shipped on 4/7
even though something shipped on 4/4. again not the bag as it was in a seperate shipment.
Are they trying to destroy the little guys chance at later first strike submissions by mixing up the boxes ???

I have heard that if you have multiple orders they may be on hold until they have time to review to make sure
you did not order over the limit. Also one time my cc card bank put a hold on my charges until I called them.
They said they were automatically flagged because of multiple charges from the same merchant on the same day.
You may want to check with your card issuer.
