Due to a bout with shingles, I haven't hunted much lately. I got out briefly yesterday and for most of the day today. I got a 1951 dime, eleven wheat cents, and an old railroad button.
Today's finds were pretty good: 1943 quarter, 1942-P war nickel, one Liberty nickel, two Buffalo nickels, and five wheat cents. I also dug an American Indian style silver and turquoise bracelet.
If it’s a type one it’s certainly worth looking at the possibility it could get a 1916. There are certain characteristics that separate 1916 from 1917 coins.
I had a good day today: 1908-D Barber dime, 1936-D Mercury dime, 1934 quarter, 1944 quarter, 1893 Indian cent, a Chinese cash coin, and five wheat cents. I also dug an old fashioned skeleton style key.

Salvaged the day with a few keepers. What’s your silver count at for 2020?
It's 24 silver coins, and a very strange mix. The percentage of silver quarters, war nickels, and Barber dimes is much more than normal. I'm not finding many Mercury dimes and silver Democrat dimes in comparison.
There are a couple of reasons for this. The main reason is that I keep going to the same site where I dug 69 silver coins last year. I've pulled 17 more silver coins from the site this year. The remaining targets at the site are either very deep, masked, or give junk signals. The war nickels are coming from junk signals that I skipped last year. The silver quarters are deep targets, usually more than 9 inches deep. A deep silver quarter is easier to hear than a deep silver dime, which I believe explains why I have more quarters than usual so far this year.
Old silver again.... You certainly have researched your sites - at least that is what I believe can justify your consistency with old silver and copper. Cheers, RickO

24 is a nice haul. That's interesting mix. Seems like the majority of silver coins are mercs and Roosevelts.
A very brief hunt today got me a wheat cent and a sterling ring.
any time you find silver, it's a good hunt
Well...if not silver coins, you find silver jewelry....That MD is more like a silver magnet than a detector Cheers, RickO
I visited several new sites today: 1936-D Mercury dime, 1942 Mercury dime, and one wheat cent.
