Almost Every member picture in the Ferrari Club of America roster has a gorgeous female next to a Ferrari nut and they put up with the 'little' eccenticities(sp?) and the women get the bigger picture.

You're having fun and that's what counts.

I might be a little concercend keeping them in plastic buckets out in the unconditioned/humid garage depending upon your location, that is if you think of them for anything other than a pure copper play.

Other than that ......... WOW for sure.

If you plan to hold for twenty years better start looking for some commerical grade 55 gallon drums. Those trash cans will get brittle with age and be splitting out all over the place. Also they make a dolly that can move the metal drums when required.

Well I'd give my left kidney for that kind of hoard. Makes my 5200 wheaties look like nothing! You rock!

Wow, my wife works in a bank and mentioned that they had a customer bringing in 10 thousand pennies a week for the last six weeks. He told her he had them in his attic. His father had passed away and they were all rolled and in crates. He breaks the rolls and runs them thru the coin machine because no one will take them. His father owned a Deli in Brooklyn and had saved them until he passed away.He said he still has about 50 thousand.image

Looking at all of those pennies gives me a pain in the kidneys. Doh! It's a vicious circle!

I must say your stash made me feel a little less
of a hoarder and more of a collector.
I wonder what fractional percentage of the surviving population
    your hoard represents???

Seems like a smart investment play. Hard to go wrong with (literally) tons of copper in that form.

I would just be worried about the floor in the garage cracking under the weight. Make sure that sucker is thick/reinforced. image

But just for fun I am taking new pictures with every other can with the cover , or you prefer every 2 cans. Or better, with my hands inside, you want a BU, 1943 or 2,3,4 coins in my hand.

O wait, all of this are fake!!!!
