<< <i>Same here - I should have paid more and got a set that had good delivery. Would have saved me the lost wages from missing work waiting on Fedex to show or not. >>
Same here been waiting since saturday for fedex must be going to the wrong house as they left no door hangers. Hope they are packed well.
I emailed them my USPS deliver confirmation number and Money order receipt number and they said they would be working on it. They made the point over and over that no matter what, a set would be reserved. If I don't hear from them by Monday, I'll give them a call or email. No need to worry as long as you have your money order receipt stub.
Being a newbie....one of my ATBs has a few very small whitish milk like spots of the obverse cheek area. It is an already slabed A-Mark one. What are they? Do the get worse? Does it affect grade? Thanks in advance.

"PB Financial Services, Inc. has arranged for a nationally recognized depository, Diamond State Depository (“DSD”), to contact you by mail. You will need to open an account with DSD and decide whether to instruct DSD to ship you the Coins or store them for you. All storage and/or shipping and handling charges are between you and DSD. "
When DSD has your order, they will contact you, nothing for you to do except wait until that happens. When DSD contacts you, you can request they send you the pucks, shipping and payment will be arranged at that time.
Some one mentioned about $50 - $60 bucks, but I don't know for sure.
Please read this entire email as it contains important information regarding your order.

That is pure innuendo and speculation on your part.
I seriously doubt anyone in this type of Business, with the scrutiny they are under, would mess with US Federal Postal Inspectors by concocting a 'lost mail' story to make a couple of hundred bucks each on 60-70 sets. That's simply chump change to risk for Prison and Financial ruin? No way!

"The wealth of those societies in which the capitalist mode of production prevails, presents itself as “an immense accumulation of commodities,” its unit being a single commodity. Our investigation must therefore begin with the analysis of a commodity. A commodity is, in the first place, an object outside us, a thing that by its properties satisfies human wants of some sort or another. The nature of such wants, whether, for instance, they spring from the stomach or from fancy, makes no difference. Neither are we here concerned to know how the object satisfies these wants, whether directly as means of subsistence, or indirectly as means of production".....
from the 1st Chapter, and the 1st lines of Das Kapital by Karl Marx.
The whole damn thing begins with a screwed up rational! Just think, this philosophy has killed hundreds of millions of people.

Read my post. I didnt say or imply anything about them concocting a lost mail story.
What I did suggest though is that they sent coins in for grading and that seems to me to violate the spirit of their AP agreement. Having coins graded is usually a way to increase their sale price. No?

The only people they are offering graded sets are those whose mail they lost.
It is entirely possible they are cherrypicking the remaining sets and sending those to grading.
It is also possible they are offering a minimum of 68. It could be possible that some come back as 69s, too. Who knows.
Where did they say that all coins are already graded??

I have no clue if mine is missing or not.
They haven't sent me anything. The FedEx thing was not suppose to be an acknowledgement, so it went to a black hole?
Do you think that Jack Hunt's offer for the PCGS MS68s are really just 68s or could they be PL's? If not PL, these will be some dull looking coins. Something to think about anyway.

No mention of a repeat delivery charge either. Seems like some folks I would gladly deal with again vs. some of these other companies we've been dealing with.
Michael Kittle Rare Coins --- 1908-S Indian Head Cent Grading Set --- No. 1 1909 Mint Set --- Kittlecoins on Facebook --- Long Beach Table 448
Were they 62s from "that other firm"?

I Smell a serious RAT here and if the good ole boys at the US Mint don't smell it too they're stoopider than even previously thought.
These guys dont have a bunch of graded sets around by accident or because they bought them on eBay.
No wonder it took them so long to get their coins on the market. They had to cherry pick the sets and send them for grading first.
I wonder what their plan was??????? >>

That is pure innuendo and speculation on your part.
I seriously doubt anyone in this type of Business, with the scrutiny they are under, would mess with US Federal Postal Inspectors by concocting a 'lost mail' story to make a couple of hundred bucks each on 60-70 sets. That's simply chump change to risk for Prison and Financial ruin? No way!
Mine isn't...I almost got hit by a car running into the street to pick up a $20 bill that was floating by the other night!!!

<< <i>Being a newbie....one of my ATBs has a few very small whitish milk like spots of the obverse cheek area. It is an already slabed A-Mark one.
What are they? Do the get worse? Does it affect grade? Thanks in advance. >>
Let me guess, it's on GW's cheek on the Yosemite? That's not a milk spot and to my knowledge they all have it... >>
I got some too! ...and for **FREE** on most of my Yosemites!!

No, it is not the well known spot on the Yosemite. It is on a different one. Thanks.

It's very possible they will cherry pick the ones that are left, instead of having them cherrypicked all along. >>
I think so. I have 3 sets from them. Have only looked at one coin so far but it was by far the best example of a grand canyon I have seen. If they were cherry picking that coin would not be in there I am sure.
Need to get the rest open but waiting on air tites to arrive.

seems like too much work for just 25 sets, and stating the would be ms68, I think they cherried a set number and stopped

Read my post. I didnt say or imply anything about them concocting a lost mail story.
What I did suggest though is that they sent coins in for grading and that seems to me to violate the spirit of their AP agreement. Having coins graded is usually a way to increase their sale price. No?

Seconded.
It says, ".9999 Pure Lead. Made in China. SUCKERS"

123cents, I believe they say ".999 Fine Silver 5.0 Ounce" on the side.

If JH sells out, then they can buy/sell these without adhering to the Mint's guidelines, right? So it could be something along these lines.
I did order additional products at the time, so it could be a partial shipment, but it doesn't say anywhere that it is.

Box of 20
Boy..talk about serious will power! Or as my father would ask at an intersection, "Are you waiting for a particular shade of green?"

They haven't sent me anything. The FedEx thing was not suppose to be an acknowledgement, so it went to a black hole?

I got an e-mail confirmation from APMEX this morning that my order will ship in 1-3 days. Maybe just an automated e-mail but that's what it said.
