I think you might be the same guy from the facebook page (Mike?) and I'm sorry if this is repetitive, but in case you are not, I have 1959 Topps Ron Jackson, White Sox and Sammy White, Red Sox, in my TMCG account and I have in hand a very clean Ryne Duran, Yankees in hand. I'd trade both towards 1956 Topps cards.
Let me know if you'd like to make a deal.

Wow, I just noticed a couple guys received their cards in the mail already! How were they shipped? Top-Loader? Rubber band? As a postcard? Just wondering. We need more scans as they roll in!

They were giving the exact coordinates of the dump that someone's mother threw them away in...
Technically, shouldn't Topps have to mail these to your Mother's house? After all, SHE is the one that threw them out....

Since you want equal value (and your offer to me of the 67 Mathews was NOT equal value when you made it for) my 61 Maloney:
Here is your challenge:
I'll trade you the 61 Maloney for your: 67 Mathews; 65 Blefary Rookie and 70 Schoendienst.
Actually; the value is $20 for the Maloney and $20.50 for the three cards I asked for; which to me is dead even. If you are fine with that; propose the trade and I accept

Not interested Rich. When I threw the Mathews offer up there for the Maloney, I was going SMR prices which put the two at about even in a PSA 5-6-7. Then when I saw a Maloney in PSA 7 sell for $12 on Ebay, I figure I'll just go that route.
'61 Maloney for what you are asking for is just not worth it to me.
I was going Beckett price guide value so I see where the difference is. OK; no trade then

<< <i>This may be a stupid question Are you trading these cards sight unseen? Do you know the condition of the cards you are making trades for? >>
Yeah, it's a crapshoot. I'm just hoping that at least one of the cards I eventually take delivery on will be gradeable. I've seen some scans of cards that looked like they took the ride in the bike spokes and then I've seen some scans that looked pretty nice.

So many people want to trade newer cards for older cards, it's kinda funny. Examples trade a 1976 common for a 75 common, or a 79 common for a 77 common, etc. At least throw in a card! This is why Topps needs to offer counter offers.

Well sometimes deals that close together are OK in my book. Given that a LOT of these will never be redeemed unless the owner has some interest in that year, maybe a flip of similar years is OK. For example, I'm looking for 73's but have no interest in 71's since I only want high-grade 71's in m my collection, so someone might be able to pry a 71 from me for a nice 73.

Or; let a collector peruse what "another" collector has. Right now; unless I'm missing something; if I make an offer for a 1989 Robin Yount card, then everyone who has that card recieves that offer. But if I make that offer for an 89 Yount and a 69 Common then I can include "more" cards in my offer as well.
Did I miss something, or was this something Topps did not plan on?

AND more importantly; the 1st contest has been announced. That contest is for the most different 2009 cards. I have Matt Cain and Dan Haren; and if you think you can compete; and need those cards; upgrade me and those cards are yours

I don't think they planned on much when it came to the website. I've fired vendors for bringing me site designs better than that. Too many system errors displayed to the users, too many oddball occurences when making trades, no way to counter a trade offer, no way to trade for more than 1 card. Epic fail from a technical standpoint, but their goal may still be met if it drove sales.

<< <i>Looking for 1959's through the Topps giveaway - have many cards to trade - too many to list here. Let me know the team, player, years, etc you are looking for - I may have it. Tks. >>

Regards
Rich

Not interested Rich. When I threw the Mathews offer up there for the Maloney, I was going SMR prices which put the two at about even in a PSA 5-6-7. Then when I saw a Maloney in PSA 7 sell for $12 on Ebay, I figure I'll just go that route.
'61 Maloney for what you are asking for is just not worth it to me.
Are you trading these cards sight unseen? Do you know the condition of the cards you are making trades for?

Yeah, it's a crapshoot. I'm just hoping that at least one of the cards I eventually take delivery on will be gradeable. I've seen some scans of cards that looked like they took the ride in the bike spokes and then I've seen some scans that looked pretty nice.

<< <i>So many people want to trade newer cards for older cards, it's kinda funny. >>

I don't think they planned on much when it came to the website. I've fired vendors for bringing me site designs better than that. Too many system errors displayed to the users, too many oddball occurences when making trades, no way to counter a trade offer, no way to trade for more than 1 card. Epic fail from a technical standpoint, but their goal may still be met if it drove sales.
