Mets fans don't worry about it when your Mets fall hopelessly behind the Phillies during the season and you don't want to watch them on TV...there's plenty of golf and beach volleyball on TV during the summer.

Ah Ha Ha Ha Ha Ha..............................................

Pets backing up already - Won't be long now before the Phillies, a great baseball franchise which will eventually windup to be the winningest MLB club of the 21st century, will be back in first place in the NL East.

I didn't Google it but I don't think the wheel was even invented yet in the beginning of the 20th century - The Phillies are the current World Series champions and I'm just looking ahead to the 21st century, not looking back at the last century when dinosaurs roamed the earth.

Actually, I remember that last century very well...they used empty milk cartons for gloves at that time till the discovery of leather...

I know this...I feel a lot better now than I did this time last year...but ya never know...it's a long season...and in all reality, all smack aside, it'll likely come down to the last week again.

I'd wish your Mets "good luck" but you know I wouldn't mean it. image

Admittedly, the Phillies arms are worrisome - you see that all the time a team that goes through a tough pennant race and goes hard to win the World Series, the pitchers extend themselves and their arms and their arms aren't quite "healed" enough in the off season for the start of the next season. Ya never know for sure but it it is worrisome.

But the Mercenary Mets are such choking dogs that I still think the Phillies win the NL East - getting past two other teams in the NL playoffs is gonna be very tough though this season...but we'll see.

The Sillies will sweep the Reds. There's no way they'd lose to the 4th place team in such a weak division, right stalin? image

It'd be different if Stain actually backed up all his BS but we all know from past history that is not the case.

Stain, have you ever even visited the city of Philadelphia? My money is on "no," but we all know it would be useless to bet you...even your fellow Philly fan SteveK banned you from the sig line bet, LOL!!

why won't you bet that the patsies won't win it all? How about this bet:

If the Bucs win the SB you owe me 50 bucks
If the Patsies win the SB I owe you 50 bucks
If neither team wins then no one owes anyone anything!

Phillies playing amazingly well on the road this season which is a very good sign - they're probably pushing a little too hard at home early in the season being World Series champs and all in front of the home fans. Once they learn to relax a bit at home, the Phillies will be very difficult to beat.
