Here is my gigantic contribution to the sub.

I expect all 10's but most likely a similar scene to my sigline may take place. Just sub me for Dustin Hoffman and Tonya for Tom Cruise image

I just heard that Emmitt Smith is now dating Ryan Seacrest. I bet they make a cute couple. TMZ said that Emmitt wears his dancing suits to please Ryan, that's so sweet.

P.S. Maybe now that I didn't trash Gumby my cards may not get sent to GEM

    1. 1992 topps 105 Felix Jose
    2. 1992 topps 166 Geronimo Pena
    3. 1992 topps 341 Bob Geren
    7. 1992 topps 638 Chris Bosio

  • It actually says King of Crap not Crab. However, with teh exception of the 88 Donruss Mike Lavalliere card, you can not beat a 1986 Topps checklist. Can you even have a declared value of half a cent?

Why don't you amateurs quit pretending you're the king of crap.

You're not a king of crap unless you can submit crap, and get a crap grade.
    I once submitted a 1975 checklist and recieved a PSA 5 grade.
    Now that's crap.

    Page 5? Really?

I thought I'd give an update to bring this back to the top. I now have 1463 cards in hand, with another 58 either in transit or being hand-delivered to me on Monday. Doing the math, that puts us at 1521 cards for the submission!

1500+ cards.. WOW. I think PSA will push this sub through rather quickly. I wouldn't be surprised to see it pop in 2 weeks. That being said, I subbed 65 cards from the 56 set that are nm+ / mint, so if PSA wants to throw me a few 9's in the mix I can wait until 2010.

I hope that is the case, but I'm not as confident. There is a very broad spectrum of years, sports, nonsports and european/foreign cards that are sprinkled through the entire submission. Some of the european/foreign cards are in sets that PSA has never graded before.

Like I said, I hope you're right...but I have a feeling that we're looking at closer to the 45 business day turnaround on this one.

With talk around here of actually doing this every month, it would serve them well to get these cards back out as soon as possible.

It's A LOT more likely we get another sub together immediately if the grades pop quickly I would think.

I know I won't participate in another one until these pop.

I'm crossing my fingers for all of us that they go pretty quick.

1500 cards is pretty impressive. What did the total declared value end up being??

    Craig,
Thanks again for all your work on this. I don't know about the rest of you, but with me having cards to sub is either feast or famine. Unfortunitly this thing came together right at a Famine time, thus I only had 20 cards to sub. I am on my way back up at feast now, of course, and as soon as somebody starts the next one I have 50 or so already, with more on the way. I should have 100+ in the next week/two weeks.
So who's going to take the reigns on this next time???????
