I called the Mint at 1:07 and waited until 1:18 before speaking with a live Rep. I'm still humming the muzak from being on hold. I was comforted to know that the Mint 'answers their calls in a priority sequence' unlike their shipping methods. It's now 1:35, and I just hung up with Barbara. She told me the same thing the Rep from this morning told me. The memo she has is from the Mint and simply states that the UHRs will be shipped by 04/24.
"Because of the personal attention given every caller, you may experience a brief delay... Please remain on the line - and a representative will assist you momentarily..."
"We appreciate your patience while waiting and assure you that assistance is just a moment away... Your call is very important to us and we look forward to speaking with you."
The Mint Rep also told me that there might be an email distributed to all UHR purchasers to let them know the "ship by 04/24" status. She also claimed that she had no idea why the website still had a shipping date of 03/06. I'm also still waiting for my Lincoln silver dollars. Pre-authorization was charged on the 17th and came off today the 24th. The Rep said my Lincolns were in process which is the same excuse I've been hearing from them for over a week now. Maybe the Mint is waiting for a bailout. Nevertheless, Mint Director Moy should be fired.

...your Rep is implying that the Mint had made zero UHRs prior to its release...this does not make any sense especially since it has been published that production started in November and thousands have been made since then.
I know, and some of know, which member/members frequents this board that has solid connections to the U.S. Mint, that knows the real truth about why the UHR's are not shipping.
Please offer your expertise from behind door #1 on what the true problem with this coin and why we as the "Collector" must sweat out some major foul up that happened at the U.S. Mint.
I spoke to a rep around 3:40 in the afternoon. All she said was that they are resuming shipping and that they are also working on something with applying signatures for the UHR orders. I will call again tonight and confirm.

Hey Coins4Life. I completed my order at 12:10, 30826xxx. I've had a pending charge on my CC since 2/9....and as I check online, no real charge yet. I'm totally PO'd with the Mint for not adhering to their FIFO policy!!!!
BTW, have you seen the other new thread...CharlieC has a 2nd URL (ordered by an associate about the same time as his original order...still 1000s behind 30826xxx orders). That thread also suggests that there may be several (more than 2) out in the public now.
keep trying I got the same answer when I called around 3:40PM. I called right back and it went threw. Good Luck to you I was on the phone for 20 minutes before I got a rep
as previously mentioned... considering everything, it owuld be nice if they put shipping of other products on a lower priority and maybe ship them every other day or pay some serious OT.

Well since the Mint kept sending out erroneous tracking dates and emails what is a little thing like desregarding the promises of FIFO?
Well, tomorrow is the day - the debut of the new, improved tracking page, although if the past is any indication of the future, I expect the new tracking page will be backordered for a few months. We shall see...
My UHR order number is also 30826XXX. I began my UHR order just after the second hand went by 12 noon, and finished at 12:05. My CC has been hit twice for pending charges, and both times they expired because they did not hard charge it, only pending. I'm just trying not to think about it anymore, because it's not going to do any good to worry about it, and you can't call them up and gripe, because they would just delay your order longer.
As far as their new delivery system goes, my order of LN7 and LN8 Lincoln Silver Dollars arrived yesterday. I ordered them right when they started accepting those order also. They were delivered by UPS this time, and left on my porch. The total order value was over $500, but they still left the package. It could be because my front is not visable nor accessable from the street, but the packaging was still very sloppy. All capsules were tight inside the cases and that kept them from being damaged, but it would seem with them sloshing all around inside the box it would be very likely to happen. I hope the other high $$$ orders I placed are not packaged that sloppy or left on the porch. With the UHR being such a soft coin, I'll bet many get damaged unless they make some changes.
