The Aaron Rodgers RC would normally be the highlight of any post. It was signed at the Michael Jordan golf tournament in Las Vegas. My buddy Jes told me it was the last card he signed before shutting it down. Can't wait to send it to PSA but it's one of the nicer Rodgers IP signatures I've ever seen.
But...
The Drew Brees rookie that I got at the public signing in San Francisco last weekend by way of Denver Autographs looks freaking amazing.
BUT!!!
About a month ago, a guy purporting to be friends with someone from LBJ23's entourage began posting for consignments on SCN. I was dubious and even made fun of it in a thread. The guy said he could show me a bunch of LeBron autographs that this guy had gotten for him. So I was a little interested. After 2-3 weeks of talking I decided that since LeBron doesn't sign Topps cards via private signings because of his UD contract, but his Registry rookie is a Topps Chrome, what the hell. It was a big fee - at least twice what I've ever paid for a consignment before. But if you see below, I couldn't be happier. It's the REALLY GOOD LeBron graph. It's not even the decent ones he usually gives on stickers and cards. It's the high end one. If I had time I would drive to PSA to slab it ASAP for protection. SUPER HAPPY.
Actually, I'll save anything else for a separate post. These three are too good to lump in with other cards.
Gorgeous Bucks media guide. Have you considered having Nate sign it, too? It would be a little odd but he's so prominently featured in the photo I think it would look cool.

Dang, those are some beauties. The Brees was well worth the money you paid compared to the garbage signature he gives out for free. That Rodgers is also the best signature I have ever seen come out of a golf tourney. I know PSA doesn’t like to authenticate Rodgers “free” signature but I have a hard time believing that wouldn’t pass authentication.
That is three great cards but their best rookies are already autographed . Most of the great rookie cards after 1998 are autographed to begin with. Lebron's 10 Best Rookie are probably all autographs . You should have got the Drew Brees SP Authentic Patch rookie /800 signed .

I honestly haven't spent too much money on new cards lately and haven't sent out many TTM's. I spent too much on grading in the last group sub and also decided it's finally time to frame some of the nicer stuff I've put together. I love the way the Celtics and Blazers pieces came out. This thread is awesome. Basketball is my favorite sport, so it is nice to see some basketball representation on the boards here! I haven't even been through all the pages of this thread yet (just the first and last) and I am blown away. So weird having to go back and finish all the baseball stuff that I forgot to do when I got into this. I still follow baseball in the box scores and standings every day but I'm hardly watching games anymore.
