I bought 3 hobby boxes yesterday at a local show here in NY (for $195) while im waiting for my retail cases (jumbo and blaster) to show up. I know it's just a small sample, but im think in the long run this year im going to be glad that LRCards forced me to buy retail (and spend a little less money). Here's what my 3 boxes had:

24 SPs (all different)
15 chromes (12 different)
2 refractors (Lester and Burrell)
1 black refractor (Carlos Lee 28/60)
3 CC jerseys (Drew, Crawford, and Lester)
6 NAP (5 different)
6 T&N (all different)
6 BF (all different)
6 NF (4 different)

Pardon my lack of knowledge for Heritage, but is there an Ebay market for single refractors?
Nick pulled a Lestor, so would he be about to get a couple of bucks for it if we wanted, or do you have to sell Refractors in lots?

In the long term you would probably do better splitting chromes into single lots as opposed to lots, but it does cost more to list. Red Sox card
are among the highest sellers!

I just finished my transaction with Lockwood.
Instead of a Blaster Case I picked up a Jumbo Case + an extra Jumbo Box.
1960 cards. Ha, that's kinda strange!
Now the waiting begins.

Oh, the Microsoft discount was instant!

Good point. Maybe the all-stars were selected before the season began back then? Then the '08 would make some sense.

My case came in. I bought an extra box. I'm through the first three. Nothing great. I think I'm a little light on chromes. I have to get back to work before I get fired.

So one of my local shops here got in some heritage. He got in a case direct from topps. He knew that I was waiting to get some. I was calling him
every day to see if it came in. I finally call today and the guy working said it had come in. I race over there and see he had 3 boxes on the shelf.

Anyone want to guess what price he had on them? Keep in mind he did get them direct, and while I don't know what that price from topps was I can
only say that it was probably around 40-45 a box.

He had 105 dollars on them!

He knew I wanted some and was willing to charge a good customer 105 dollars a box to make a few bucks. I will never go in there again. I used to have
some sympathy for shop owners who can't stay in business, but when you treat customers like this you won't have to worry about customers.

I hope you all have more pleasant experiences with heritage today!

got my case today shop owner charged me 68$ a box.. ill always go back since he took care of me.

3 boxes in 23 sp's
3 jersey uggla pedroia podsednik
17 chrome/refractor 9 more to go. hope i at least get an auto and a black refractor

Actually my comments were directed at the two people here who don't collect heritage. I have been the most critical of anyone here regarding this
product and dont' mind at all if the people ripping it give us their honest opinion. It just seems like topps is doing less and less for us regarding this
product.

This is my desk at about 6:15 after five boxes. I just got called back to work, but I had to post first. I probably will not sleep tonight.

My dealer said that boxes are going for $70, but he will sell them to me for $60 as long as this first shipment lasts. He sold me my extra box today for $59. Cool dude.

I pulled one boring blue auto so far. I'll post it when I get back home.
