Thanks for that! It wouldn't have even occurred to me. I just bought it as a type coin because it matches the look/grade of my only pillar real (ex. @Boosibri actually before he upgraded to his monster 66).
No worries. It's a small distinction that really only matters to registry players and variety collectors, but something that PCGS should correct gratis.
Costa Rica 1875 10 centavos. One year type. Struck after the re-opening of the San Jose mint, which had had severe quality control problems. Next finest graded scruffy AU55 (Lissener, later die state with crack though "C" in CENTRAL).
I believe the tree side struck from a pre-1875 deteriorated die thoroughly polished up for the occasion.
Both sides fully PL, essentially as struck.
IMO, coin should not exist in this state of preservation, just incredible to me.

It’s still Thursday night down here in Mexico. Just picked up this circulated pattern 1/2R in tonight’s auction catalogued as an “uncatalogued regular issue.”
In reality it’s another of the Durango patterns from French dies. Somebody apparently threw it in circulation.
Better photos once it’s been graded & TV’d by our hosts.
It's Thursday in Sydney, plus i'm very excited about this round of new additions to the collection. If you missed @OriginalDan 's post in 2014 on his acquisition of a number of Archer M Huntington 8 Reales coins, I would highly recommend reading this post with a nice write-up on Huntington and the wonderful pieces that Dan was able to acquire. It only took 5 years, but I was finally able to talk Dan into parting with one of those coins (1785) as part of a larger deal we recently finalized. And while the Huntington piece is definitely the crown jewel in this deal for me, the rest of the coins are equally wonderful, as can be expected coming from Dan's collection.
Enough words - here are the coins. Not putting grades down because it's not about the numbers, but if you're curious, the cert number is part of the image link.

Picked this up a few weeks ago from CRO. These "ABC" pesos were stored in vaults for many years and are most often found blast white, so finding nicely toned pieces is a challenge.
100 Bolivares 1888. Tough type (struck only 1886-1889) this nice in general, but for this date pop is NGC 1/0, PCGS 0/0.
Only small bag marks on obverse, solid for grade, pretty coin with an unusually strong strike.
I don't know why this type normally has central weakness; until I saw this one I never knew it has vertical die polish .
El Salvador 1942 1c. First year of bronze centavos (previously copper-nickel) in El Salvador. Early El Salvadorian bronze centavos are getting hard to find in high grade RD. Minted in Philadelphia. PCGS MS65RD (1/0).

Old area for me. I started with War for Independence provisional mints, at first, before getting frustrated with trying to certify them. Should have never even tried doing that. In any case, not going back to that collecting area, just something picked up cheap for a quick Ebay flip to keep the numismatic itch at bay.
Finest graded Bolivian 4R to go with my finest traded Mexican 4R. A set in the making.

Sorry, I do not have one but included the link below. To me, the field clutter isn't as noticeable as in the larger image which is my explanation for the low price. The color and detail are representative. It isn't quite as nice as the image in the holder.

Next best is MS62. Rarest 20th century date in any decent grade.
