This is ebay's way to get everyone ready for the mandatory "free shipping" rule.
That's not such a bad idea. It will eliminate a lot of problems. Just add what you want on your auction starting price. I really don't care for auction style anyway.

eBay doesn't do anything that doesn't make them more money.. just like all those huge casinos in Las Vegas, they didn't get to be billionaires by striking oil on the land their headquarters sits on.. just in the past month they've eliminated the ability to leave a buyer a negative claiming it "hurts the marketplace" with a policy change worded in pure pretzel logic..
just wait until they force you to only accept PayPal (i have NO doubt that's in their future plans).. and eliminate your ability to advertise that you'll accept Money orders, Bank Cashiers checks, and merchant account CCs.. they've already eliminated the option of advertising that you'll accept cash.. if you doubt it, list an item, and state that you'll accept cash payments and then tell me how long it takes them to kill your listing.. not that sending cash through the mail is a good idea anyway.. but slowly and Shirley they're chipping away at the options a seller has to do almost anything.. and where do they derive their income? from sellers.. bidders don't pay a cent of fees for anything.. Pay"PAL" indeed..

Just one comment on that link. It appears that ebay wants the shipping charges stated in the proper place instead of just in the description. Helping buyers see what it will cost.
Second, ebay made "best Match" your default Sort. You can correct that by going to the link next to it called Customize Display. You can then set the Sort to TIME: Ending Soonest. This messed me up at first.

Ok guys, what do you think I should do? I have 21 raws. I want to have them graded by either PCGS or NGC. I am already a member of NGC (through the ANA). Their turn around time appears to be quicker, and they also seem to be grading 70's at about 50/50. Thus, at today's prices, from those 21 coins, I should expect to get 9-10 70's at a value of $900+ each.
On the other hand, I'd have to sign up for PCGS, and their grading is obviously much stricter, commanding higher prices. I would probably only expect 1 or 2 70's....One's selling for over $2500 now...
As you can see, I have quite the dilemma...What do i do!??

If you are just interested in flipping for the short term then NGC is the way to go. For the long term and in my veiw a better investment that will hold up over time, then PCGS is the way to go.
There are a lot of coins on e-bay right now, but if I had any quantity I would be holding out to sell until later this year and beyond. Demand for these coins has been strong out of the gate and I expect the majority of SAE collectors to want to aquire at least one...eventually.

I agree none off us actually know what order that they were made in. But I can further that and state any case after May 10th hasn't received any from what others have stated..
Amazing the premium that is attached to this very ambivalent meaning label. I mean, a non FS goes for less than half, and the non FS coin could well have been one of the very first struck. I'm awe struck and shocked!
The designation IS meaningless. For THIS particular coin, First Strike SHOULD imply they were the first 47,000 struck (yes, this would be against their definition, but it is going to become plainly evident that 'First Strike' should not be taken literally. IF they were the FIRST 47,000, then yes (certainly, there must be a way to know when they WERE struck....dies are serial numbered, and I would think each die is entered somewhere when its put into use/when they retire the worn die....or is my deductive reasoning something the mint wouldnt think of doing?), they should be designated as such. As 19Lyds points out, the Mint says only that 'they were made in A 24 hour period', not which one. I have to believe the Mint would be able to confirm exactly what 24 hour period these were made, as well as exactly how many they were able to withhold. Or, could this be another 1965-1966-1967, with the Mint wanting to punish coin collectors? Hell, depending on where the prices wind up, when the selling is mostly set and done by flippers/speculators/collectors wanting to make alot of money, those sellers could possibly make more money than the Mint does selling the non-errors...not quite literally, but I think you all know what I am getting at.

yikers. I don't like how many auctions are up right now. This is for sure going to drop prices by at least 10% on average at a minimum, could be as high as 20. Don't people know about supply and demand? If the prices do tank, it will be a while for them to come back up to their current levels. If people see a drop from say $600 to $450, they are going to be a lot more selective/patient in paying more for the coins down the road in the short term, regardless of how many or few are for sale. And you all know that if the price does drop, everyone is going to start dumping these coins and I mean fast. I think if the price drops by 20%, the listings/sales of these coins is going to go up 100%.
Average sale price did drop today about $70 bucks for raw coins. That is only the second time the price has dropped on a single day in the last two weeks. The last price drop was on Saturday, 24 may when it dropped from $454 to $405. Today's drop was from $626 to $568.

This is madness, just over a month ago, I bought a Fs Pcgs 70 for $499.00 now they are selling over $5k. Well lets say this, I am keeping this beauty until it hits $10k and maybe I will sell.
Also a few weeks back I told you guys about Ngc Pcgs ms 69's selling for $299.00 on COin shoppe and HSN. I bought some and gave you guys a item number, I hope you cashed in. I just sold 5 of the NGc 69's for $510 a piece so I paid Coin shoppe $2,999.00 just made $2,500.00 and have 5 Fs Pcgs 69's to go. Not bad for Mr Chambers new home.
Seriously this is Madness, something is not right. They will crash in months to come. I just don't see the variety why so important?
I just flipping and dipping. It's fun. But like other's said don't get burned.
I even offer JesseWV some money for a raw one for my dansco I guess he sees $$$. Thanks anyways Jesse I guess my offer wasn't high enough to get a pm back. GOOd Luck.
I received an offer to end this item early $3000 but I decided to keep it up. Hopefully that was the right move. I'm really surprised at what the PCGS MS68's did.

I received an offer to end this item early $3000 but I decided to keep it
