Love the Icon! In fact When I saw that it made me put another Bowman in my sig-line LOL, I messed up somehow and cant figure out how to add a few more- Im thinking that the "Perkies" might need to go but the Old School Pats IS STAYING!!!
EDIT: # 500!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thanks to all of you for keeping this thread going!

pure blasphemy, the perkies must stay or be improved upon, sounds like a poll is in order
LOL I think your right Drew! They prolly should stay. BUT if I do decide on letting them go a poll would be in order and they could stay depending on the majority rule..

well, that's the only fair thing to do. You guys have some nice vintage football coming in, keep it coming.
Perk...wipe that thought from your mind! I think staring at your 52 large is starting to warp your mind. Get rid of the Perkies??? craziest thing I have heard in a while...

Ditto that, the Perkies cant go Paul. I mean, I love my football cards, but if it comes down to a scan of 52 large matson or the perkies in your sig line, I vote for the perkies all day long.
Speaking of 57 topps, I just got these from Mike T (no not that loser Mike T shouldabeena) at nearmint. Perfect transaction, I highly recommend checking out his store.
<< <i>Nice cards as usual Joe! So whats the deal? 1950 Bowman? 1957 Topps? Or the ever elusive 1988 Topps? Or all three? >>
LOL, all three and a "few" more Paul
I love football cards, what can i say my friend. When the competition for the 88 topps set starts to heat up, I move on to another set until things cool down a bit. Alot of the big dogs are closet 88 collectors you know. Ask Ryan, I know he's outbid me on quite a few
There are honestly just a few sets I love and have been slowly but surely collecting for years. 48 leaf, 50 bowman, 57 topps and 84 topps are my favorites. I think I only need about 15 cards to complete the 57 topps set.
<< <i>Hello I've made em for maybe 30-40 different sets when I get time here and there I work on them, I like to put em on the binders when I do raw sets >>
Here is some of the older labels perkdog I don't really sell em I just make em up, but u can take and print image right from pic, resize if needed.. I'm all for making any changes to any of them..

Good job on those! Would it be possible to do the 1957 without the shadow, and put the 19 centered in the first box, and the 57 centered in the second box? Thanks!
I posted this pick-up last week with the scan from the ebay auction......wanted to repost with my own scan when card arrived...it looks SO much nicer than old scan! I think it may get a bump..if I ever submit to PSA
On this day 10/22/1950: 'The Los Angeles Rams drub the Baltimore Colts in the regular season by the same lopsided score they recorded in the preseason, 70-27, at the Coliseum in L.A. The Rams score 10 TDs in this game, 64 during the year and 466 points in a 12-game season, all league records. With two future Hall of Fame quarterbacks, Norm Van Brocklin and Bob Waterfield, two future Hall of Fame receivers in Crazy Legs Hirsch and Tom Fears, and the Bull Elephant backfield of Dick Hoerner, Tank Younger and Deacon Dan Towler, the Rams are virtually unstoppable. They'll just miss out on an NFL title, losing 30-28 on a Lou Groza field goal in the final seconds of the championship game at Cleveland, but Los Angeles will rebound in 1951 and win the crown, beating the Browns in a playoff rematch at L.A.'
I love these little highlights. Imagine having the Super Bowl played on your home field? I just thought about all of these guys on my '50 Bowman set when I first read this story. The Rams sounded like they were an absolute scoring machine, much like their '99-'00 squad, but in a much different era, obviously!

Love it! Great stuff, those early 50's Rams teams were stacked with talent! If only Towler and Younger played more than 5 seasons? They would more than likely been HOF'ers themselves.
<< <i>ps, nice large hipps paul , i sorry couldnty resist its osamas fault, pretty sure of it >>
