I was checking pricing on E-bay for some of my Gold Eagles today. I have some of the 2007-W $25 Unc`s, Graded PCGS MS70 First Strike. I noticed some NGC 70`s for sale, But the PCGS versions are never for sale anymore. Anyone know what they are going for lately?
I track them, but I haven't seen any PCGS MS70 FS coins sell since I have been tracking them.
The NGC MS-70 ERs have been around $1,400.00, but I've also seen an NGC MS-69 go for $1,470.00 and an OGP coin went for $1,468.00. The PCGS FS might get you a bit more, but $1,400.00 plus or minus $50.00 seems to be the range.
All of the "W" 1/2 ozers went on a nice rise a few months ago.
Again, none of the data included a PCGS MS-70 FS.

<< <i>The average with 8/10 fixes done is $1392.19
They jump the price to the range indicated by the average. So, that's 1 level up right now, barring some sharp decline in gold. If the fixes tomorrow are both $1431.25 or both add to $2862.50, then we will jump by 2 levels >>
<< <i>Somebody can have my 2010 AGE Proof Set. Just cancelled. >>
I think it is a good move to cancel the set: 1. They are nowhere near sellout yet 2. The possibility of price reduction in coming week is much higher than the possibility of a price increase.

33,000 each bullion. 27,000 each "P" mint (unc. or proof?)
I think we can forget buying them at a *slight* premium to melt. >>
Thanks for posting, Overdate. The mintages are so close to each other, it'll be interesting to see which version ends up having more demand. If the bullion versions are manhandled (as I'd expect), I would think that nicer specimens could quickly command hefty premiums.
Margaret Taylor First Spouse is history! The last sales numbers I saw was 43 hundred and some change on the proofs. Could this be the new key for proof Spouses???
<< <i>If you dont have a $10 Van Buren liberty MS Gold, go buy one now...... >>
I remember buying a batch of them (more than usual) 'cause I liked the design and sent them all in for grading at PCGS. They were beauties and every single one got a 69.. I think I sold all but one for near cost but maybe I shouldn't have.
Gold and silver are valuable but wisdom is priceless.

I doubt it. As of Nov. 22 there were 4,787 proofs sold, very close to the last known Julia Tyler proof mintage. I haven't seen any updates since then, but I'm guessing that enough sold in the final 10 days to overtake Julia.
Where are you guys ordering your MVB Uncs? They went off sale over a year ago at the mint...
BTW - the Buchanan proof ship date has moved up to 12/3. That's tomorrow. The latest striking must have made it's way to PBGS and they will start filling tomorrow...maybe...

See...once again...if you had only bought at least one of everything that Eric lists in his book as a must have, these things wouldn't have happened!!!

I broke down and ordered one - backordered w/cancel box. I'll likely send it back or cancel unless the flip looks promising.

My guess is no price increase next wed.

Don't know why you would be worried, NN says 17,000 of 39,000 4 coins sets sold. There won't be a sell out anytime soon.

I think it is a good move to cancel the set:
1. They are nowhere near sellout yet
2. The possibility of price reduction in coming week is much higher than the possibility of a price increase.

My bad, you think correctly!
Hopefully, the Buchanan coin does as well (or, as bad, as the case may be) as the Van Buren coin.
