If the situation were reversed we wouldnt say a thing. Bad calls happen every day, you win some, you lose some, just like in life. Either you deal with it and move on or you complain about it and sound bitter.

So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
My point was that it happens all the time. There are at least 5 or 6 games this year where the Yankees received very bad calls against them. Not once did I come on here and whine for anyone who will listen.
If the call went the other way and the M's got the favorable call you would be on here talking about how it shouldnt be that close a game, how the Yankees payroll is so high they should win every game by 5 runs and not have it come down to a close call, blah, blah, blah. Just like you did the night before when instead of just saying they lost, you had to come on here and talk about how Rivera " almost " blew it, and how the Yankees payroll is so high how can they " only " score 4 runs.....there is no end to your babble. Suck it up and take your loss like a man.

Great win by the mariners today, Ichiro stole the game. lets see you argue about that.

Blown calls are as old as the game man. EVERY team gets fu$ked by them and EVERY team benefits from them eventually. And you don't see Yankee fans crying their eyes out like Axtell when they happen to the Yankees. I would like to see proof of that.
Yes he did, and the first homer he has given up all year. Anyway, when was the last time (never) a Yankee fan hopped into the Sox thread directly after a Sox loss to rub it in? Get your $hit eating grins in now coin
That was a great game. The first playoff type atmosphere game they've had in Toronto for ages. But it's only one game in a four game series. It should be a great series.
I certainly won't be knocking Rivera. B.J. Ryan coughed up the lead in the 8th.
What about Proctor? That guy has some great stuff, doesn't he?
<< <i>What about Proctor? That guy has some great stuff, doesn't he? >>
And he came from the Yankees farm system in which every Yankee hater in the world constantly tries to ram down everybodys throat that the Yankees have no farm system. Imagine that!
Great win for the Jays writer ..... as A-Rod continues to struggle defensively. Should be a fun weekend

If ARod could throw, Rivera wouldn't have been pitching two innings in a tie game... Why was he going to home on that play? Looked like Moose thought he was going to 1st... 3-1 with 2 outs and nobody on would have been fine...
A trade rumor going around had ARod + going to the Phillies for an Abreu/Gordon/Burrell package. ARod immediately said he would veto it. Of course he would - can you imagine the guy playing in Philly? 3 weeks in and the boos would be heard in a 10 mile radius every time he came to bat...
Here's the story - also check out the pic of the old guy who got beaned at Skydome last night - looks like he took one of the dome pretty good.. - Textlink
I can tell you as a Blue Jays fan, I would much rather be in the Yankees position coming into this series. Even if the Jays have a great series and take 3 of 4 (not saying that will happen, but that would be a great accomplishment), they still only gain one game on the Yankees. The Red Sox need to start losing a few.
And if Posada had made half an effort to catch that ball, perhaps it wouldn't have been an error...was it just me that looked like he made no effort whatsoever to get to the throw?
<< <i>Rivera wouldn't have been pitching two innings in a tie game... >>
Rivera's still to blame...he's the one who gave up the home run.

So you're saying Philly fans are as unreasonable as NY fans? Seems so.

Get lost rookie.
He was clearly out, it cost the M's the game, I don't have a right to be pissed?
If you're saying you wouldn't be, I doubt how you can call yourself a 'fan'.
