What is it with #13 David Wright chrome? I seem to see that card on everyone's list. I'm down to two cards, the Wright and the Bonds (#50), and never see either one on anyone's dupe list. Gives further credence to the "not all SPs (or chromes) are created equal".

Im here visiting my parents in central Florida...you know what that means. Actually my dad had opened
up a few blaster boxes. He pulled a Leyritz auto and a Maz GU....not bad for 3 or so blasters! Best thing
is he said I could have all the short prints!

I hit a target today and nailed three more blasters.....they should of had Pujols' picture on the front, as
he was the player of the day.....I hit one Pujols GU piece and a Pujols refractor! Not bad.

I had a somewhat similiar situation with blasters, instead of the same card back to back; I got identical packs, card for card, same order, the whole 9 yards.

I've opened 8 sealed blaster boxes now and received 1 relic card (Cano) and a few chromes/refractors. Either the blasters rot or my luck is coming back around to average out my 1st retail case. Down to 1 card (10) and 40 odd chromes/refractors for the master set. I'm not going to go after the Gordons.

I was just talking to my good buddy Craig. He told me a story and I thought this would be a good time to mention that its that time of year again...

The time when jerks buy heritage blaster boxes, open them, take the good stuff out, then reseal them and take them back to the store. These
boxes look wrapped. Its very important that you look for the topps logo on the wrap! Thanks to Craig for the heads up.

I also found out that Griffey Jr., did not appear in heritage because he didn't sign his contract in time.

I always say to myself, "This is the last Heritage I'm buying this year." It never is. I was on a hunt yesterday at lunch time, but came up empty handed. I scoured the next town over today and bought two blasters. The second one yielded this bad mamajamma.

The numbers are in a dark part of the card, but it is 52/57.

Howdy folks, I took the plunge and opened a box of Hobby, nice looking set, very addicting LOL

The results:
Chrome Refractor: Orlando Hernandez
Chrome: Halladay, Pudge
Clubhouse Collection: Dontrelle Willis
TAN: Musial/Lee, Williams/Arod
SP's (according to Beckett Mag) 348 336 333 320 305 282 265 200 123 80 70 55. Also pulled an additional #80 Tim Hudson, the SP has the blue lettering but the other has blue/red lettering. Question, Beckett lists the non sp as red/white lettering in the guide. Anyone notice this discrepency?

Anywoo, fun rip and prolly an average break, nothing too earth shattering.

If anyone is still buying this set, buy retail NOW. I've picked up about 30 packs this week. It was a pretty even split between blasters and individual retail packs. Almost every pack has an insert. There are lots of chromes and refractors. I got these cards this week.

Just wanted to share a few recent pickups for my relic collection , including the shortest of the short printed seat relics. Got a couple coming in from Kevin - when those arrive, I'll be just eight cards short of having a complete run of '01-'06 seat/bat/jersey relics. Woo hoo!

Can't remember if this one is printed to 50 or 55, but I do know that it had the lowest print run I've heard of from Heritage's relics

Topps really went out in 2001. All those high end cards..plus one of each of the 1952 cards. I think the Mantle actually got redeemed..it looks
like a good one...who knows abuot the Mays and Mathews.....and what of those Mays autoproofs..I have never seen one

Unfortunately, this is one I'm chasing also. I'm not trying to collect all, just Red Sox & some of my favorite players......from '06 I'm partial to BRobby , Kaline, Banks & Musial-have 2 BRobby's (1 I posted here plus a seat relic from Dan).

I'm now branching out into the other Heritage sets starting with 2002, in a couple weeks when I've received my ebay wins & other orders, I'll get back here with trade material.
