anyone have delgado and david wright chrome? last 2 i need for my mets set. i have sp's to trade and around 10 chromes. just let me know. Thanks in advance
I've not bought a whole lot of Heritage this year, especially compared to my pace this time last year, but I spotted 3 booster boxes at K-Mart last night and decided they needed to come home with me. I was amazed that out of 24 packs, I got 72 SP's or chromes per pack. Each and every pack contained 3 SP's, chromes, NAP's, TAN's, or Flashbacks. No autos or game used in this round of purchases, but I'll take it! I know this is not the norm, and just wanted to share my experience. I'm sure this will really help in building my set this year.

I bought 8 blasters, and in three of them there were only three sp's per box. Combine that with the fact that I bought 4 hobby boxes and in the 12 boxes pulled zero black refractors and zero autos. I'd say I didn't do to hot this year, but at least some of you are. Congrats.
That being said I'm down to 17 sp's and 1 common to complete the set, and thought I'd give a trade one more try before hitting the bay.
I need #'s: 20b, 95b, 256(common), 268, 271, 278, 280, 288, 298, 313, 352, and 475.
I've still got sp's 267, 283, 342, 348, and 349; chrome refractors 77; and chromes 29, 41, 43, 65, 92, and 98 to trade.
Also, I'm trying to put an extra White Sox base set to the side for my separate Sox album. I just need the following: 129 Thome, 82 Young, 257 Dye, 366 Crede
Thanks!

Just updated my web site once again with some new 2006 Topps Heritage for trade. I am looking for Topps commons from 1952-1969 in EX or better condition. Please let me know if you want to trade!
Received my blasters today.......I've opened 2 boxes so far (16 packs) 2 NAP 1 FB 1 chrome 1Cano bat relic 7 SP 4 Packs with nothing but commons, no CL's in them either.
I had an incredible Heritage weekend. I bought 7 booster boxes from 2 different retailers and got an incredibly high percentage of SP's and inserts. I previously posted my results from Saturday's 3 boxes, and I bought 4 more at a different store yesterday afternoon. I know this is an anomaly, but I'm still amazed at the results.
Out of 56 packs (448 Cards):
178 SP's 8 Flashbacks 1 New Age Performer 4 Then and Now's 5 Chromes 1 Brooks Robinson Flashback Seat Relic
No autos, refractors, or black refractors, but I'm not complaining!
The new beckett is out and heritage is priced in it. For the most part they did well on it. The Gordon cut out card is listed at 120. I guess that is what they sell for, but usually the price listed is a bit higher. Im not sure what they go by. The SP's are listed again at 8 bucks a piece. Pujols, Bonds and company come in top SP at 12.00. The real one autos are 50-60 for the commons. The tops ones are Snider, Banks, Frank, and Ford at 120, Yogi at 150 and Musial at 175.00. Red multipliers are 1.5 this year. I was a bit disappointed in the seat cards..they didn't book well at all. The Mantle GU card booked at a whopping 200...no offense, but I would rather have a nice auto or two than a GU of Mantle.
I also find it odd that Beckett did a one box heritage break and they pulled not only a Kaline relic, but a red auto of Negray..hmmmmmm
Kevin, Do they list prices for the black refractors? If so, could you tell me what they say a Brian Roberts (#46 I Think) books for? James
I collect Vintage Cards, Commemorative Sets, and way too many vintage and modern player collections in Baseball (180 players), Football (175 players), and Basketball (87 players). Also have a Dallas Cowboy team collection.
Black refractors have an 8 times multipier. Use the base chrome as a price. Common chrome is 4 and the semi is 5.00. The better black refractors actually book for more than that multipier and are listed.
Finally broke the autograph cherry after two years with a Dusty Rhodes, pulled from a Target blaster that I had no business buying. Finally, some good luck! Now, if only I could snare a few of the SP I need! Calling all traders...
CC: Choo bat Chrome: 45 N. Johnson Refractors:, 60 Utley, 68 Santana T/N: 2, 9, 10 FB: Banks, Maz, Yogi, Mantle, Ford, Musial NAP – GM (Prior), MT (Teixeira) Also: tons of 2005 SP and chrome , berkman bat, soriano bat and some 2004 SP.
Let me know (PM or bevans10@wi.rr.com) if something works.
I'm a little sceptical on some of that pricing.....I got $40 for a RA red , $35 for a blue RA, $35 for a Mantle seat relic, this was the 2nd week in March. I have a Ford & a Berra seat relic up now.....no watchers with a $9.99 start price. Been watching the closed auctions and seat relics seem to end up in the $8 range as often as not other than the big guys like Mantle, Musial, Banks, etc.. Common chromes.....$2-3 at most, the "easy" SP's for $1-3. I've opened nearly 2 cases now & am still missing 4-5 "tough" SP's. They probably are close on the big guy auto prices but I've noticed many of the autos and CC relics going very cheaply.
I just sold a master set 534 - 3 subsets, checklists, no Gordon for $315. I sold a Gordon for $132.
I have another hobby box waiting to open, but I refuse until I sort everything I have now. I should be trading again by the end of the week.
Collector of 1976 Topps baseball for some stupid reason. Collector of Pittsburgh Pirates cards for a slightly less stupid reason. My Pirates Collection
Geordie.....great collection , I like the background & simplicity too. It seems that 2001-2004 seat cards and Clubhouse Collection cards all look much better than 2006 Heritage. Is it just me?
The only store that sells Heritage within 45 miles of me is Walmart-my wife checked there for me tonight, no Heritage on the shelf. I've found it in there once this year, 1 box of retail already opened. They have a vendor stock it & evidently he doesn't have much of it or doesn't know the popularity.
While in FL I did find a bunch of boxes at Target, all open however so I just bout a few packs. My latest venture is buying several blaster boxes at a time on eBay from a dealer i trust. Just ordered 4 more tonight.......I've got the Heritage fever and man it's worse than smoking.
If you ask he might cut you a deal on more.......depending on how much he has left. I was very pleased with my purchase from him. They weren't the greatest, but they weren't bad either. QUick shipment and they arrived in great condition!!

Im thinking of now selling my second set once I put it together...is that crazy? I think it would fund another heritage case (or close to it). It bothers me that the Mantle cut hasn't been pulled yet. I wish they had, so that way I would never have to buy hobby again, but dang it, if itsn't out there ready to be pulled!
Kevin
PS..Just bought a blaster tonight...got me a Pujols SP...I think I should *itch more often
PPS...I think the Mantle cut is super super short printed
ok, call me dumb, but I think Im going to attempt the chrome set. I can't stand to sit here with a huge stack. If anyone wants to deal in chromes, please PM me. I think I would rather help someone out rather than going through the pain putting that monster together.
I had the redemption for a while. I was stupid I didn't send it in as topps sent out red ink Willie Mays autos for the card. I was able to get a nice red ink a bit later for it, but it wasn't as good as Mays. Beckett also have Larry Doby listed at 150, but he never signed either, but then again if one wants facts and info on heritage, they come here not beckett
why have a redemption for a bat card? Seems to me that Topps should have had the bat sliced up by the time production rolled around. Sure you're not talking about the autographed Mathews? Beckett has that listed correctly as EXCH, which I'm sure means redemption.
yeah it seems odd, but the bat was exchange also. I do believe that Mathews passed away in the time 01 heritage was printed up and was released. Have you ever seen a live Mathews bat card? Actually topps spelled it on the redemption:
I've been buying boxes from Target and have pulled a reasonable amount of SPs and two autographs - so, not bad. I'll throw my want/trade list into the arena, just for the heck of it:
For trade: Autos: ROA-JM Joe Margoneri, ROA-JAC Jackie Collum. Chromes #ed to 1957: 21 (Matsui), 38 (Martinez), 45, 67, 101. FR-FR Flashback Relic Frank Robinson stadium seat CC-AS Clubhouse Collection Alfonso Flashback Ernie Banks (FB-EB)
Wanted All SPs EXCEPT 10, 18, 25, 76, 95 (fielding), 165, 267, 272-6, 283, 291, 296, 297, 323, 339, 342, 345, 346, 349, 475. All Then & Now EXCEPT 1, 5, and 10. All Flashbacks EXCEPT BM, BR, EB, FR, SM, YB. All New Age Performers EXCEPT GS, RC, and VG.
Thanks all! Geoff

Well, figured I would pack up the scanner for the night, but I was so far along that I went for broke and finished up. For your viewing pleasure, here are all six years (minus 12 cards) of Topps Heritage Clubhouse Collection, Grandstand Glory and Flashback relics.
Very cool website displaying all of your Heritage relic cards. Nice scans and the black background really brings out the color of the cards. If you don't mind me asking, what did the '06 CC Mantle bat-card set you back? (I presume you picked it up off the 'Bay, but if you pulled it, my bad, and that must've been quite a thrill!)
Anyone have their sets in MJ Roop binders? I was wondering how that worked. From the dropdown menu on their site you can order 2001 heritage binder...does that fit the master set 487 cards??
I have my Heritage in a Roop, including the chromes. Not all of the cards are there yet but enough pages to hold them all are. They fit fine in the binder that folds up & has 2 velcro stickies to keep it closed. Not sure what this binder is called vs. the type that fits in a sleeve.
I use the Roops for the Heritage sets. I know last year they had checklists for your master set so that was pretty cool. I will pick up the binder system for this year when it comes out as well.
Greetings All, Reading this Forum and the beautiful design of the 2006 Heritage cards has drawn me back to the card collecting hobby. My First round of collecting cards was 1969-71 I bought many a pack at the little leage field in Subic Bay the Phillipines only to have my wooden box full of cards disapper on the move back to the states . Round two was 1987-1989,topps,donruss,fleer,sportflics. I have some questions about 2006 Heritage; 1. How long will Target,Walmart etc... have these cards in stock? All Summer? 2. Could someone post a list of the non SP/Insert "moneycards". 3. I recently purchesed on e-bay two Team Topps autograph cards(Johnny Podres,Jimmy Piersanell) that were claimed to be part of the 2006 Heritage set-are they? They are not on the checklist? Who else is in the Team Topps set?
Bought a blaster box today. Did not get anything great but here is something that was unusual.....in one pack I received three Craig Biggio cards that were back to back to back. Now why couldn't these have been Real One Autos?????
Tim, Welcome 1. Not sure, this is my 1st year collecting Heritage but they should be available on Ebay all year. 2. I think there is a complete checklist earlier in this thread, try the search function. 3. Yes Podres & Piersall are part of the set, the other Team Topps autos are: Mike Cuellar, bob Feller, Duke Snider, & Jim Leyritz for some strange reason.
Hey all. I decided to list the Real One autographs that I pulled. A Red Eddie O'brien, a MUSIAL, and a Bob Chakales. Ebay ID bigred.unl
Hope all is going well with the set collectors! I am going to wait until later to do my big time pack busting.
I am however, hoarding chrome. These are tougher this year than last, only a few more cards (109) with a pretty significantly larger print run...... With the few packs I've busted, I notice they seem harder to pull....

Im begining to think my set is going to go Gordonless. Has anyone found blasters at Kmart yet?
Kevin
While in FL I did find a bunch of boxes at Target, all open however so I just bout a few packs. My latest venture is buying several blaster boxes at a time on eBay from a dealer i trust. Just ordered 4 more tonight.......I've got the Heritage fever and man it's worse than smoking.

<< <i>I think we can all agree that the Pujols SP is one of the rarer of the short prints....unless one of you are sitting on a bunch! LOL >>
I pulled five Pujols Red Shirts over the weekend..I got a late start on Heritage this year. What other ones are considered the "rare" SP's?
<< <i>Im begining to think my set is going to go Gordonless. Has anyone found blasters at Kmart yet? >>
They've hit the Kmarts in WV...and we are usually last to get..well, about anything!

I was just looking through the 01 relics..very nice....They never made Eddie Mathews..he was an unfufilled redemption!
Kevin
You'd think Beckett would be on top of that - they still have the card listed at $50 in "My Collections".

able to get a nice red ink a bit later for it, but it wasn't as good as Mays. Beckett also have Larry Doby listed at 150, but he
never signed either, but then again if one wants facts and info on heritage, they come here not beckett

Andy
you can order 2001 heritage binder...does that fit the master set 487 cards??
Thanks

Did I leave anything out?
Reading this Forum and the beautiful design of the 2006 Heritage cards has drawn me back to the card collecting hobby.
My First round of collecting cards was 1969-71 I bought many a pack at the little leage field in Subic Bay the Phillipines only to have my wooden box full of cards disapper on the move back to the states . Round two was 1987-1989,topps,donruss,fleer,sportflics.
I have some questions about 2006 Heritage;
Thanks,
Tim

MY TOPPS BLOG -- CHECK IT OUT!!!
More help is available earlier in the thread.
