Thanks Joe. Had an absolute BLAST this HOF weekend. Saw MANY out of state friends/collectors over the weekend, including one that has just joined the thread ( Kevin, from Kansas ), but has not posted as of yet, and another, that is awaiting confirmation from PSA ( Jeff, from Florida. ). Only Jeff made it over to my house. Besides Jeff, I hosted Collectors Bill and Dan from Wisconsin, Chris and his wife Lisa, from N. Carolina, Rod and his girlfriend Michelle from Canton, Pete from Georgia, Joe, Nate, and his Father from Maryland. I will be sending an Email to Ed Wolfe ( Thanks in advance ) for posting a few pictures for me. Will go into more details about HOF weekend soon. What a GREAT time it was.

Hi Rocke,
Happy to help you out. Here are the photo's that Rocke sent me taken during HOF weekend. Enjoy!!
Well, First of all, a VERY BIG THANK YOU, to Ed for once again, posting pictures, for someone who is to dumb to have figured out how to do it yet. I got to drive up to Cleveland Hopkins airport, and pick up Sam Huff, and his agent Korinne. On the way back to Canton, we stopped at a restaurant and had Lunch. This is the 3rd time I have got to spend significant time with Sam, and I have cherished every minute. He is one good story after another. Got my picture with Dan Dierdorf and Paul Warfield at the Belden Village card/autograph show. Curley Culp also did an autograph show at Belden. Before he started signing, he came over to my tables and was checking out my stuff. He REALLY liked the item you can partially see over my shoulder. I will take a full picture of it, and send it to Ed. It is a KILLER item. While I was waiting for Sam Huff's plane to arrive, I was able to get a quick picture with someone that one of, if not the WORST General Managers in NFL History ( Paul Brown ) gave away, Willie Davis. But, being as this is an autograph thread, it doesn't take a rocket scientist, to figure out what was the biggest thrill of HOF weekend for me. For the SECOND time ( the first was about 4 years ago ) I got FAMED Goal Line Art Artist, Gary Thomas over to my house. And THIS time, I asked him to sign my Rec-Room Wall. I actually left Belden Village, while the autograph show was going on, and trusted ( I know, I need my head examined. LOL ) Joe Mancino to watch my table for me. Such a GREAT weekend. I will also have to send Ed a couple of the group shots of all of the hardcore autograph collectors that came over for Pizza, pop and beer on Saturday and Sunday night. Pizza was Sunday only. LOL

I'm sorry that I couldn't meet some of you at Rocke's house. I was at some of the other HOF events, gold jacket dinner, gameday round table luncheon. Took a friend of mine to the hall so he could get a couple Ozzie Newsome autographs and I needed a Russ Grimm on my HOF Metallic card also I needed Dan Fouts on his 1993 HOF Program. Sunday was the luncheon and then new class signing.
This year the class signing in my opinion was a real bargain. The ticket cost was $345 and that included a $5 service charge and $15 FedEx charge, even though I live about three miles from the hall. Normally at the class signing, now that these guys will charge extra for any inscriptions they will only sign there name. This year they all added either HOF 13 or HOF 2013. They signed anything at no additional charge. There were individual signings over the weekend with Chris Carter and Bill Parcells at a charge of $99 for flats/minis, $129 for premium items plus an additional charge of $39 for any inscription. I found the price of $325 a real bargain.
Another note, at the gold jacket dinner there were over 100 past HOFer's that were introduced. It was very sad to see Bobby Mitchell and Don Shula, both of their healths have really deteriorated. Both needed two people to help them up to the stage. I ned Bobby was in bad shape but I was shocked by Shula. He did attend one of the autograph sessions. Over all it was a good weekend.
Hey Catman, I got Shula at the signing right before his handlers got there and was first in line, he asked me a question and it literally sounded like boomhower from king of the hill...couldnt understand him, I pointed where I wanted and it came out good though so i was very happy as this may be the last kind of public signings he does

Well, once again, a HUGE THANK YOU, to Ed Wolfe for posting the pictures for me.
The top picture is the group from Sunday nights get together. L - R is : Dan A. ( I don't know his last name. He is Bill Heinen's buddy. Dan is from Sheboygan, Wisconsin. ), Joe ( JMDVM ) Mancino from Maryland, The person who has done far more for me, than any of you can imagine, to help me have the collection I have, Rod Winzinek, "BloodBank" Bill Heinen from Sheboygan, Wisconsin, Chris Thomas from North Carolina, and finally, me.
The 2nd Picture is MOST of the group that showed up to my house on Saturday night. The picture was taken after Jeff Williams, up from Florida, had already left to get back to his hotel room. This group is, L - R : Pete Wilbur, from Georgia, me, Nathan Wagner from Maryland, and Joe Mancino from Maryland.
The 3rd picture is the centerpiece of my Rec-Room. It took about 2 - 1/2 years to put together. Framed, the piece is 42" wide and 38" high. All of the autographs are either PSA or JSA Authenticated.
The 4th picture is a separate signing area in my Rec-Room. Joe M. had the idea, that all of us "insane" collectors should have a signing area. As Proud as I am about all of the Hall of Famers I have hosted, Believe me, I am just as Happy to have so many friends, that share, and are just as passionate, about collecting Hall of Fame autographs, as I am.

Finally I see where I belong - the Hall of the Insane! Great photos, sounds like a great time. Someone did a nice job of getting all but two of the 1941 Championship Chicago Bears to sign their autograph book -
Nice stuff Mike & Rocke! Wow, there are some guys with deep pockets out there buying high end stuff lately. 9.5K for the Bidwell and this Kinnick letter sold for just about 9K as well. Wonder if it was the same person?
I am in the market for a Sam Willaman or Albert Herrnstein autograph to add to my collection of Ohio State head coaches. If anyone has one or has any leads, please let me know. Thanks,
Just purchased a large collection of vintage 1940's signatures including many from the AAFC. Let me know if there is anyone in particular you are looking for. Also have few rare like Marshall and Heffelfinger that I'm sending in to be slabbed. Ebay handle poseidon140.
Hey guys! Finally got myself a nice upgrade for my John Paddy Driscoll. Saw this in a lot of index cards, which quite a few are going off to PSA for authentication and slabbing, others won't be, but this was the main piece and it was already slabbed. This is definitely going straight into my collection to stay.
Hey guys! I am needing to sell a few things to try and buy another HOFer for myself! I am going to put a few things up here and if anyone is interested, let me know.
John Paddy Driscoll Cut (Slabbed): $350 Arnie Herber Index Card (PSA Cert): $500 Ralph Wilson Jr. Index Card (Slabbed): $50 Dermontti Dawson FB Card (Slabbed): $25
I have a few other autographed cards in my photobucket as well. If you want pictures, just look in the link below. I will also include my e-mail address as my PMs don't work on here half the time.
Also, I do have a few unslabbed index cards I might move before I send off to PSA/DNA if interested. Names include Taylor, Hinkle, Clark, Unitas, Grange, and a few others.
Hey guys, I have an Arnie Herber 3x5 jsa full Loa, im going to be posting on ebay later today for $499- If anybody here wants it for $430 paypal to friends and family, let me know. Thanks! nathan.wagner67@gmail.com

I had made a pact with Gary Thomas that Gary would not sign the wall unless I signed it too! Glad it worked out for all involved. As for watching Rocke's table, I actually sold a couple of things for him.
Hey guys. Just wanted to give a big thanks to Nathan for helping me reach 266. I got this in the other day and just having a chance to finally get my website updated and this posted over here. A little sad about last night though as I saw a new addition I would have loved to have, but due to uncertainty at my job right now and lack of funds, I had to miss out in a very nice John Blood McNally last night. Not sure if anyone here won it, but I would have LOVED to add that to my PC. If anyone did get it, congrats! I tried to make an offer early on, but of course it was a bit on the low side compared to what it went for.
Anyhow, here is the new addition to my collection, thanks to Nathan. Also...it is JSA authenticated, but was thinking about having it slabbed by PSA/DNA. Would the sticker cause some issues with them? Sort of afraid to try and remove it...or am I just best served to leave it as is?
<< <i>The sticker won't cause any problems a lot of people have items that are authenticated by both. Nice pick up! >>
Ah, this is wonderful news. Kind of wish I hadn't already sent in my order this month and been able to throw it in. Hahaha. Oh well, maybe the next $15 submission month.
They will put the sticker where ever you want it but the sticker has the Serial # on and is the only way you can prove that it is authenticated by them, PSA does the same thing if you do not get it slabbed.
To pay for a couple of recent purchases I'll be putting a Len Ford and Ernie Nevers item on e-bay this weekend. If anyone is interested in them let me know and we can work something out, I'm just looking to get what I have in them plus the authentication fees, thanks, Tim
Does anyone collect Dayton Triangles signatures?? I purchased an item yesterday that had about 4-5 Dayton Triangles signatures in it from the late 1920's.
Thanks, Matt
Ohio State football coaches and All-Americans collector.
For any of you looking for college or pro players form the 1920's thru early 1990's, let me know your want lists. I recently bought a couple of big collections and have about 15,000+ different names. Obviously, many are for my own collection, but do have lots of duplicates.
If you want the entire list (sent in 7 e-mails due to the size), just message me your e-mail. When I get a few e-mails, I will send the lists out.
In regards to the lists:
1. Names are listed with generally one or two teams. However, they may have played for others. I just put who they were probably most known for playing with, or who they were playing with at the time they signed the card.
2. Some names may appear more than once. That is because I have them in more than one collection and have to look multiple places to find them. Some other might be that I have an index card and photo.
3. Again, some names I may only have one of (others I may have 20+) and that one is for my own personal collection.
4. I don't mind scanning a couple of cards, but do not want to get into scanning every single one that you are interested in. I will do my best to describe what I have for each.
5. Vintage signatures, and ones in ballpoint or fountain pen, especially of the older players, go for more than the same signature in Sharpie. Also, unlined and non personalized are a bit more as well.
6. The more cards you purchase, the better deal I can give you.
When I say I have a lot, I mean it. I had more than 125 names off of Greg's Seahawks list.
Bart bdbop@aol.com
PS: Please note: I will do my best to get to lists you send. Please alphabetize your list - it makes it so much easier. Also, am in the middle of a big project for my job, so it may take me a bit to get back to you. But, will try my best to get back within a couple of days.
I put together a group PSA/DNA submission, and the order came today. I'm still sorting, but had my wife scan my items in while I'm working.
First off are my HOF PC Customs that Alifaxwa2 created for me. If anyone needs some customs done, Jeffrey does a great job and is quick. He's also done a Walt Kiesling, Curly Lambeau, and Jim Thorpe of mine. All in all he's had around $8,000 worth of my PC and I never once felt worried. I love these cards and am proud they are in my collection forever!!
Next up are cards that get me jump started on some future HOFers:
I am so excited to add the Brady to my collection. It was a TTM auto that was once personalized, but I was able to remove the personalization and now looks great
Next is my HOF PC. As of now I need 6 autos to have a signature of every HOFer, and EVERY one of my PC autos are now in slabs!!
And some duplicates I plan on selling to help pay for my submission. If anyone is interested in these LMK:
VERY HAPPY WITH THIS ONE!!

Everyone, I want to apologize to the owner of clean sweep auctions for my post from a year or two ago concerning the six or seven autographed Alex Wojciechowicz Goal Line Art cards that have been auctioned off on that auction site. I have been informed by the owner of that site that he has proof that every one of those six or seven cards that he auctioned off were a different card and that he has proof that they were, in fact, not the same card, as I mistakenly thought. As he said, I should have checked with him first. I am sorry, and I promise not to publicly comment on any future Alex Wojciechowicz GLA card that may appear on that site in the future. To ALL of my many friends on this site, I am sorry about my comments, and if you wish to say anything negative about that post, or have any comments about what I did, PLEASE do so in a PRIVATE MESSAGE.
Again, I apologize to clean sweep auctions and anyone I have offended.

Also, I do have a few unslabbed index cards I might move before I send off to PSA/DNA if interested. Names include Taylor, Hinkle, Clark, Unitas, Grange, and a few others.
<< <i>Well, once again, a HUGE THANK YOU, to Ed Wolfe for posting the pictures for me.

I had made a pact with Gary Thomas that Gary would not sign the wall unless I signed it too! Glad it worked out for all involved. As for watching Rocke's table, I actually sold a couple of things for him.

PS: Please note: I will do my best to get to lists you send. Please alphabetize your list - it makes it so much easier. Also, am in the middle of a big project for my job, so it may take me a bit to get back to you. But, will try my best to get back within a couple of days.

"In Al We Trust!"
Looking for Autos of HOFers Charles Bidwill, Tim Mara, Joe Carr, Fritz Pollard, Guy Chamberlin & Bill Hewitt
