COMPLETE IT! Stay away from 10's if you ahve to but get that baby to 100% !! Then you can sit back and see what you want to do. I "finished" my set more then 6 months ago and I still don't know what will happen next.
Here are some scans from the box I just bought from Dan (softparade) that originally came from the case break from BBCE.
Overall I am very pleased with the results of the box and I would like to thank Dan for the opportunity to have purchased this great 78 box!! There were the usual off center cards and print marks but some of the cards have great color and gloss similar to what I had experienced in my earlier box from BBCE.
About halfway through the box, I pulled the five cards pictured below from a single pack! Incredible. The Forster has a little gum on the back. The Ryan looks similar to the one I pulled from my own box except the centering might be a bit more off. The Murray is hopefully an 8. Borderline 9 or solid 8 would be my guess.
The Todd looks good except for the print marks. My guess is an 8.
The Bench has some wax staining hopefully to be removed.
The Molitor was against the gum, otherwise looks too OC to have been a 9 without it.
These are the Ryans that came from these boxes. Anyone have a caliper????
Does anyone have some raw near mint or better singles to sell or trade? I am looking to fill out a raw set. I am not looking for your 9 and 10 submission candidates but rather cards that fall below that level and are no worse than near mint condition.

After thinking about it for 5 months I will be selling my set after it becomes 100% complete. The last few cards to finish the set are being sent in now. (These are all free grades) After the grades pop I will retire the set and sell it either as a whole (not likely but possible) or I will break it up and put it on ebay probably in numerical order. Right now however I am not looking to take offers for cards I need to keep the Team set % above 75%. The only thing I have not decided yet is if I break up the set I may keep the met cards If I do I would be willing to trade for some upgrades that I need for the mets team set.

PSA did a very quick turnaround time for my free sub's the first one is for completing the set and team sets over 75% After I add these in that will bring my set to 100% The results were as expected 8+9's The only card I figured would get a 10 was the Garner, but instead I got a 10 on Lemancyz. The 7 on the reds Team card was kinda expected but not on the Garland. On the membership sub I expected all 9's on the 78's and a chance of a 10 on the 84 Mattingly. So all in all about what I expected I did not purchase any additional boxes for this sub.
All the cards I do not need for the set will be availible as soon as I get them back from PSA.

Overall I am very pleased with the results of the box and I would like to thank Dan for the opportunity to have purchased this great 78 box!! There were the usual off center cards and print marks but some of the cards have great color and gloss similar to what I had experienced in my earlier box from BBCE.
About halfway through the box, I pulled the five cards pictured below from a single pack! Incredible. The Forster has a little gum on the back. The Ryan looks similar to the one I pulled from my own box except the centering might be a bit more off. The Murray is hopefully an 8. Borderline 9 or solid 8 would be my guess.
The Todd looks good except for the print marks. My guess is an 8.
The Bench has some wax staining hopefully to be removed.
The Molitor was against the gum, otherwise looks too OC to have been a 9 without it.
These are the Ryans that came from these boxes. Anyone have a caliper????

i am 20 cards away myself and 15 of them are on your list. it gets to be tough sledding at the end.
After thinking about it for 5 months I will be selling my set after it becomes 100% complete. The last few cards to finish the set are being sent in now. (These are all free grades) After the grades pop I will retire the set and sell it either as a whole (not likely but possible) or I will break it up and put it on ebay probably in numerical order. Right now however I am not looking to take offers for cards I need to keep the Team set % above 75%. The only thing I have not decided yet is if I break up the set I may keep the met cards If I do I would be willing to trade for some upgrades that I need for the mets team set.
