Mike, I think that's the first '36 Goudey I've ever seen. I actually like those more than the more popular issues. How are they price-wise in comparison?
Also, you seem to have a really great eye (or, you grade conservatively). Could I hire you to speculate on this? I can pay you in '88 Donruss.
<< <i>It certainly seems that rollerskating cards are grossly under-represented on these boards, so I thought I'd try to turn that around by posting this recent acquisition...
Actually, I recently took the leap into the T218's, and a lot of you folks who have been posting your cards from that set on this and other threads are largely to blame. I'm really enjoying it so far. They're beautiful cards. Thanks for the inspiration! >>
That is a pretty neat card, I just wonder how many time he got the snot kicked out of him in school??

I just fell in love with the T218's as well. I have a T218 Ruddy card coming back from SGC now. It got a grade of 60. Its a beautiful card. I wonder how that skater made it around the rink with all those medals on his chest.

I did pay much for that card - I've had it for about 20 yrs? Like you, I know very little about the set.
I am actively buying MIKE SCHMIDT gem mint baseball cards. Also looking for any 19th century cabinets of Philadephia Nationals. Please PM with additional details.
So basically my kid won't be able to go to college, but at least I'll have a set where the three most expensive cards are of a player I despise ~ CDsNuts
<< <i>Kevin, I love that trio one with Bench, Perez & Morgan!
Those are cool. Are they expensive? >>
Arnold
I think they are good looking cards as well. That particular one is from 2004 and was print run of 15. Finding them is the hard part. They sell anywhere from $75 to $125 recently, although the Exquisite quad originally listed just sold for around $150 the other day (I got mine under $100 : )
I personally think that it really blows that MLB doesnt even allow Pete Rose cards to be made. Ok, so he is out of baseball..but ban him from cards? Is this because he would make money from them? If you ask me, its a real screw job to collectors.
prophetic indeed brother. rose should have his own card w/ 4 swatches of ray fosse's shoulder on each swatch.
fosse actually got more injured the 3 years later when he suffered a crushed disk in his neck trying to break up a fight b/t REGGIE and some dood named Billy North in the A's clubhouse.

Thought this was getting a 6:
Thought this one was a 4 or 5:
I got an 8 on another 60T common - kinda disappointed.
I'll scan the other two cards tomorrow.

On your card? I would say 5?

Sweet Cepeda!
I submitted this card with the other 3 I posted.
I think the UFO above Morgan's head may have kept it from getting a 9.

This came yesterday in the mail. Is this THAT George Karl?

That's a great set - I like discs.
I would like it even better if they had a gasket to hold the card in place.
Superb

Boy, this is a beautiful thing aside from Griffey being on it. I mean, he looks out of place on that card. Should've been Pete.
