I think PCGS should let trusted forum members "volunteer" moderate (with ability to ban new accounts) during weekend/holiday hours.

Another good idea would be that all members are on a 30 day probationary period, and they dont become a "full member" until 30 days has passed with no issues. There would be a disqualified, like 3 flagged posts or something, or we could vote on them after 30 days.

Hey @Bambino1 , if you would really like to stay on this forum, then I have a few pieces of advice for you. Delete all of these posts, then apologize publicly to the whole forum. Also, sent an apology to the mods, and I'll give you their name if you want to PM them. How does this sound.

I already know almost everybody's names here. Ya'll have left a trail of breadcrumbs that is easy to follow, each of you making many posts on forums and social media that clearly and unmistakably identifies you. Again, because I didn't know about silver pennies, you assume I don't possess skills in web and deep web sleuthing. In your haste to ridicule folks as your inferiors, y'all have a habit of chronically underestimating the resourcefulness and savvy of your intended targets.

Meanwhile, I'm still waiting for the forum to make a group apology to me, hats in hands. o:)

Are you writing from a penitentiary? It would over the top if the mods jailed you while you are in jail. (Jail is temporary here, a ban is permanent.)

So, how much does it weigh?

If this universe is entirely a simulation, as Nick Bostrum has hypothesized, then we're ALL in a jail, so to speak.

Everyone else. There is no need for a weekend moderator. Use something called self moderation and don't respond. this is obviously a very troubled person who is just seeking attention. This is in fact a coin site so just concentrate on valid coin topics. I am ashamed that a post such as this garners such a response when i have watched numerous actual coin questions get minimal or no response. End of speech. James

I have seriously thought about this specific thing for months, and fully endorse the civilian moderator idea, as long as we are allowed to have a voting thread like we did for the unofficial king. The mods would never let it stand though.

Irony is quite often a wonderful underpinning as an integral element of humor. If you were blessed with either a sense of humor or personality, you'd already know that.

I must confess. I've never seen such a bunch of dour, brooding, humorless malcontents like y'all, gathered in one place like this in my entire life.
