PSU seems content with Franklin, he should have been fired a while ago with his performances against ranked teams.
FSU wants to theyre just hesitant on the buyout right now because theyre trying to use that money to get out of the ACC but he probably will get fired.
Add Oklahoma to the list when they only win like 7 or 8 games and Arkansas is starting to figure out they have a bad coach which is going to lead to a bad year.

Not Michigan - he’s a first year head coach that was left with a mess and half to clean up. Unless the sanctions are aimed squarely at him and Michigan is forced to cut ties.
They might, hes going to get some of the sanctions which gives them an excuse to dump him. Its basically the Mississippi State situation all over again when Leach died. A DC takes over wins a couple games gets the HC job and then has a bad year the following year which sets the program back. Mississippi State fired their guy after one year and if Michigan wants to keep being a playoff team they should as well. The wild card will just be how well is he recruiting. If hes bringing in big classes that can save you like what has saved Nappier at FL when he has no business having that job

Thats just funny
Not nearly as funny as the ap poll. Texas beats a team with no offense and they're #2? Ok.
Ohio State hasnt played anyone and you jumped them over Georgia and Texas, thats laughable. The only thing actually wrong with the AP poll is USC and and Miami should both be ahead of Penn State and Oregon. Oregons looked bad in both games and didnt seem to fix anything and PSU barely beat Bowling Green at home.
Northern Illinois and BC really shouldnt be ranked but whatever theyre 24 and 25, theyll be out of the rankings soon enough

Because I think Ohio State are better that's why. The eye test. And they been getting 1st place votes, so I'm not the only one.
No way this happens if Texas and OSU switched places this weekend.
Only one reason - and one reason only this happened......
SEC! SEC! SEC!
The bias is real.

Texas dominated Michigan at Michigan and Georgia dominated Clemson.
Ohio Sate played Akron and Western Michigan.
Might need to get your eyes checked if you think that is more impressive,
Texas, Georgia, and OSU could switch conferences it wouldnt matter for the rankings. Two of these three teams played a real game one has not
@coolstanley said:

Ohio State is 3 at this point in the season. It really doesnt matter much since conference champions get the top 4 spots, but you cant claim to be objective if you think Akron and Westron Michigan is an eye test over Michigan and Clemson wins

They're #2 in the coaches poll and I think they would have a great shot to beat Georgia. They only lost to them by one point the last time they played, and I think this years Ohio State team is much better than the last time the two teams played. I dont think Clemson and Michigan are good teams this year.

Theres no objective measure that OSU should be number 1. If you want to say roster talent OSU is still three behind Alabama and Georgia with Texas a close 4th. Season wise Georgia dominating Clemson and Texas dominating Michigan is light years ahead of what OSU has played. Clemenson is better than Georgia made them look
At the start of the year yes I would have said Michigan loses 4 games but Oregon has serious and hasnt figured them out yet which I thought they would. USC can bet them, Ryan day is in the same spot as Franklin, 1-3 against Michigan and even Urban Myer has said he should be fired
As I said none of it matters since if you win a power conference you get a bye in the playoffs, but no objective measurement has OSU as the number 1 team
I don’t care who’s #1 because the playoffs has that in check.
6 of the top 7 right now are SEC.
That doesn’t matter because they’ll beat the crap out of each other and things will work out.
But LSU, ND, and even Oregon and PSU better be careful. Leave the Ohio State guy be. The big 10 has looked bad overall. No reason to state the obvious.
Texas has a better win, so how come they didnt jump Georgia?
Also NIU being ranked behind the team they beat on the road just isn’t right!
I can’t remember the last time Alabama beat some directional school and dropped in the poll.

Agreed. Freeman just isnt a great coach. Riley is more of a runner than a QB and their talent composition just isnt that high. They never should have started at 5
Looks like the Pac 2 is on the verge of saving itself poaching 4 teams from the Mountain West. They still need 2 more to remain a conference and will be considered a G5 level conference if it goes through, but the name will survive if they are successful
Any reason I shouldn't be thinking Memphis will handle Florida State, Oregon State at home will keep it close against Oregon and Purdue will keep it close as well at home against the Irish?
I dont even consider betting FSU games with how unpredictable DJ is. Sure they lost a ton of talent from last year but you can see guys just give up on the game after he misses wide open long passes enough. They could have easily won those first two games if he just wasnt so bad.
Oregon State lost so much in talent including most of their coaching staff. I still believe Oregon will turn it around but Im getting close to giving up on them if they look the same again. The roster talent difference scares me on that one but I dont hate it
Purdue isnt very good, but I dont hate that one either. I dont believe in Freeman and Purdue always seems to have one good game against a top team a year. If we can even still call ND a top team that is. I really do hope Purdue beats them so that we can end this ND playoff talk nonsense
Strange week. Some of the rivalry games that traditionally are played at the end of the season are being played this week. Good Saturday to get some tennis playing time in, as there are no good ranked matchups.

Your eye test says Purdue has a better defense than Ohio State and Indiana’s offense is just as good as yours.
Ole Miss has a way better “eye test” than Ohio State. Offensively and defensively.
