Deion's son was a beast. could have easily thrown for 600+. dropped 3-4 dimes that weren't reeled in, yet still threw for 510

it's going to be a lot of fun following Coach Prime and CU this season

    what a win

Cal, Stanford, and SMU are going to the ACC. Thank god we can finally see that Thurday night game of Boston College in Berkley vs Cal lol. Cal bring nothing to the table, SMU has a good baseball program and Stanford has a very good one but their fans couldnt care less. Weird additions to give Cal and Stanford an invite but it seems they may be expecting FSU and Clemson to figure a way out or using the additions at discounted rates to take momentum away from FSU and Clemsons push to get out.

To have cred, it helps to spell the school correctly.

    Yes. That’s Deion.

My guess is he goes to the NFL with his son soon.

Nebraska has been under .500 the last 6 years with their best record being 5 - 7 and 0 - 1 to start this year. Colorado should be "primed" to win this one too.

The ESPN personalities predicted Colorado will win 3 games at best this year.

Colorado could easily start 3-0 or 2-1 and end the season with 3 or 4 wins. Nebraska is not a good team and Colorado State should be an automatic win. Week 4 will be when we actually find out when they go to Oregon who isnt great but one of the better PAC 2 teams.

Shedeur is good, he was a 4 star out of HS. But he isnt as good as he looked against TCU and most of his yards and TDs came on huge plays where TCU was 130th in the country last year they gave up so many plays over 20 yards. TCUs defense wasnt good last year and it doesnt look like it will be good this year. They also lost a ton in the offseason to the draft.

Dont forget Colorado gave up over 40 points and TCU missed an easy field goal and had 2 picks in the endzone. The first pick was just a god awful throw and the Hunter pick (great play by Hunter) was just a poor decision. Hunter is so much better than everyone on their team theres no reason to ever throw the ball to a guy hes covering

TCU was also only ranked because they finished 2nd last year. The fact they fell to 17th means people know they arent a great team but it would be unprecedented for #2 from the year before to be unranked in the preseason poll. Falling out of the top 10 much less top 15 is unheard of as well.

Its a great win for Colorado and they certainly are significantly better, but if people think theyre going to be an elite team or anything like that theyre going to be disappointed

If Michigan State was so good he would have stayed there.

FSU is the favorite to win the ACC and will likely have to play Clemson twice. Tough path now for LSU to make the playoffs, but still possible. FSU probably has to go undefeated. A one loss Clemson beating them i(assuming FSU beat them) n the ACC championship probably isnt enough and its hard to see two ACC teams in the playoffs.

Kelly is getting close to being on the hot seat if he doesnt start cleaning it up against top teams and not get the yips on play calling in the redzone

Kelly did beat Alabama, so I doubt he will be in the hot seat. Clemson has had FSU's number, but maybe the tribe will finally beat them this year. I think the game is at Clemson.

FSU is at Clemson but would likely have to play them again in the ACC championship.

For Kelly, LSU did fire Ed O 2 years after having one of the most dominate teams of all time. LSU has one of the shortest leashes for coaches just caring about results

Nebraska is still a very bad team, but Colorado is actually a good matchup for them. Colorado gave up over 260 rushing yards to TCU until TCU abandoned the run in the 4th quarter for some reason. Nebraska has a terrible 3 star transfer from Georgia Tech at QB that was awful there for three years and a bad WR group, but Colorados best defensive players by far are in the secondary.

Colorado has weak lines, especially the defensive line. You can bully they around and if Nebraska is smart they will just run the ball down their throat until Colorado proves they can stop it. Theres no reason a throw should ever go Hunters way when hes playing DB.

This is a winnable game for Nebraska if they approach it the right way, if they try and throw the ball all over the place with Simms at QB they will lose

Dabo might run the Clemson program into the ground. His refusal to use the transfer portal is going be be a big issue. They had 1 transfer come in this year and their WRs had way to many drops for what the program should be.

They need to find a different rankings system. The coaches poll has Clemson ahead of Duke.

Polls should be banned* until a few weeks into the season. So many pollsters just move teams up or down a few spots based on last week rather than actually deciding which teams are the best and the correct order. Nobody who watched that game thinks Clemson is better than Duke. And yet here we are.

** - obviously, the NCAA can't ban all polls but they can refuse to use any that don't abide by their criteria.

Clemson is ranked 25, Duke is ranked 21. Duke isnt ahead of Clemson.

The AP poll doesnt even matter. The only rankings that matter are the playoff ones (even though that is a terrible committee currently) which dont come out for a few weeks

Clemson is a better team than Duke. Clemson did more to lose the game than Duke did to win it. Two fumbles inside the 5, a missed chip shot field goal, numerous dropped passes etc.

Clemson has the same issue Alabama had last year, a very young WR core that drops a bunch of passes and in the case of Clemson its because Dabo refused to use the transfer portal. I'd bet hes getting a talking to about that this week.

The AP poll has no relevancy for the playoffs and Clemson dropped from 9 to 25.

The past committees it didnt have an influence, especially not the coaches poll. The head coaches dont even do it, maybe a couple do. Most just have an assistant do it and maybe say to rank x team high because we are about to play them, but Kirby or Saban arent sitting down and watching a bunch of games of teams they wont ever play to see how they should be ranked.

This current committee I have no idea what theyre talking about or how this was chosen for them to be the voters.

    https://collegefootballplayoff.com/sports/selectioncommittee/roster

You have the AD from Nevada, the AD from Kentucky, AD from NC State, AD from Navy, A retired Baylor head coach, AD from Utah, AD from Michigan, AD from Miami of Ohio, a retired player from Nebraska from the 1990s, Kansas States AD, the Vice President for Intercollegiate Athletics and Community Wellness at Virginia Union University, the Group President of Utility Operations for Entergy Corporation, and a Professor from Montclair State University.

Theres more than one person that probably doesnt even watch very much college football. Several arent even involved in a D1 athletic department. Its possible that some just look up the AP rankings and vote off that.

To sum it up: Nebraska's offense stunk and their defense wore out from being on the field too much.

I didnt think it was possible, but somehow Nebraska actually got worse than last year. Northwestern might be their only conference win and they may only have 2 wins total. Sims is horrendous just like he was for 3 years at GT

Also its really annoying me the Tulane Green Wave are wearing baby blue uniforms against against Ole Miss. The Green Wave shouldnt even have baby blue uniforms, but it looks like a Ole Miss spring game and keep having to remind myself Ole Miss is in white

Colorado should suit up Ralphie at fullback and let him run through the interior of the defensive line. Ralphie would run through and over the defensive line, line backers and defensive backs knocking them on their behinds. Heck Colorado would not even need and offensive line other than the center to hike the ball.

Ralphie (multiple buffalos have been Ralphie over the decades) has been running up and down Folsom Field forever (sometimes dragging some or all of the student handlers along if they fall and can not get up).

Just imagine a herd of tens of thousands of buffalos on the great plains in the 1800's going on a stampede in a massive wave. Quite a spectacle.

If Colorado and Coach Sanders continue to win games this year all of College Football will be focused on the Buffalos.

Colorado will get past Colorado St. next week, then sh*t will get very real when they go to Oregon, followed by USC at home.

Nebraska devised the perfect blueprint for slowing the Buffs' high-octane, yet one-dimensional O down, but their junior high offense drove their own defense directly into the ground. that won't happen against legit teams like the Ducks and Trojans.
