I was following the Boise game but only on ESPN scores along with some other games, while doing office work. For some reason, the Boise coach hardly used Jeanty in the third quarter and I don't think he was given the football at all in the 4th quarter, until the series late in the 4th quarter, when he ran wild again and Boise scored a TD to take the lead. Boise kept throwing the football and getting nowhere, and the other Boise backs couldn't do squat. So I figured maybe Jeanty got injured.

It's a shame because he had that 61 yards TD run early in the game. The 195 yards should have been a lock at that point. If the dam coach used him the way Jeanty should have been used, especially in a close game? Again though, perhaps he got injured at some point, they taped him up, and he came back in - I do not know.

I had a parley that would have hit had Riley Leanord ran for 40 yards which he does routinely with his eyes shut but ofcourse he goes deep into the 3rd quarter with 8 carries for 30 yards and gets taken out of the game πŸ™„

btw how sweet would it have been for that late Bears TD & 2-pt conversion to duck the number by a 1/2 point to win my parlay

only one problem. the Commanders couldn't beat the Cooper Rush Cowboys at home. Dallas hadn't won a game since Oct 6

@galaxy27 Both these got destroyed because literally the biggest Asshat QB in the NFL Anthony Richardson couldn't throw for 200 yards

Everything came together beautifully except for Mr Richardson failing to get 24 more yards passing

Also 10 yards rushing by Riley Leanord cost me as well

These 2 guys cost me about a 1k worth of winnings 🀬🀬🀬

    @perkdog

and the game script couldn't have been any better for you. Indy down and required the chuck the ball for the majority of the second half, yet that tool completed 11 passes the entire game

i wish you guys had seen me yesterday. when i posted my 5-legger i said it stood no chance. and it didn't. until it did. until it didn't.

Tampa, check. Detroit, check. KC, check. Bears getting 3.5 but down 14 in the 4th. with 22 seconds left Chicago scores a TD and converted the 2-pointer to get it to 3. at that point i'm hurling expletives at the Commanders because they were about to lose to the lifeless Cowboys at home and destroy my parlay. after i typed out the "btw how sweet would it have been....." post above, i looked at my phone and my eyes almost popped out of their sockets. somehow, someway the Commodes scored from 86 out with half a minute left in the game. i couldn't contain my jubilation. 5 seconds later, my phone said that Austin Seibert missed the extra point -- his 2nd PAT miss of the day. i'm still not quite sure how i managed to not throw my phone as far as i possibly could.

i think if you bet on sports you shave 3.141592653589793238462643383279502884197 years off your life

That Redskins kicker should be cut and run out of town on a rail

Brutal way to end the game, but that's the NFL where the most ridiculous unthinkable scenarios happen on the regular.

I've been following the NFL for a long time. I can't recall so many bad beats in so many games for so many ridiculous reasons.

Needed the under 50 for my parlay. So with less than a minute Baltimore commits 2 unnecessary PI to allow the Chargers to score TD to go over. Second PI was a delayed call. Probably checked with the books to get the call.

I was following the game. On that last drive the book had it at -13.5 Ravens almost begging for players to bet it all on the Ravens. The Ravens were up by 14, all they had to do was keep the Chargers out of the end zone. I think the Chargers were around their own 40 or so when the drive started, might have been further away than that. Made sense to play the Ravens, right? No way the Chargers are kicking a field goal in that situation, quite obvious. But the Chargers all of a sudden slice thru the Ravens D like a knife thru warm butter, aided by the Ravens penalties you mentioned.

I wasn't following the O/U odds, but it affected that as well as you mentioned.

My parlay was played on Tuesday. I was locked in at 50. Was alive with a carry over game from Sunday. Took the under as stated. What po me was the 2 pi's. For no reason other than to insure the over. Probably best not to watch a game one bets on. Then you do not see how you get railroaded.

I rarely watch a game in its entirety when I have a wager on it I absolutely refuse to torture myself like that.

Some games when I have prop bets going I might watch but overall it's just not anything I recommend, the swings and the stuff that happens that shouldn't ever happen just happens for some reason.

There has to be literally like a .0000001% chance of ever having a sweat free bet.

If I had a genie in a bottle and could ask a handful of questions one of them without any hesitation would be "Why does ridiculous unexplained stuff happen in NFL games"

I just read a government agency report that 5% of those housed in insane asylums are there due to brain injury, alcoholism, drug addiction, shell-shock, or environmental factors.

The other 95% are sports bettors who watch the entire game.

BTW - I've been housed here for many years, and it's really not that bad. The nurses are particularly nice, and they serve donuts on Sunday. 😡

if i've said this before i've said it a thousand times................the NFL is insane, but it has nothing on the NBA

and i seem to have a knack for getting involved in the πŸ€ insanity

take tonight, for instance. the 7-11 Atlanta Hawks (3-6 on the road) were down 19 points the 17-1 Cleveland Cavaliers (undefeated at home) and........

Final score: Atlanta 135, Cleveland 124

so from the middle of the first quarter on, a sub-.500 team that was sub-.500 on the road outscored the best team in the NBA on their own unblemished court by 30 points

i'm telling ya, if you bet on the NBA you better have a full flask nearby

Looks like I’m going to put together a 12-13 team college fb parlay. The one game I’m staying away from is Tennessee vs. Vanderbilt. That looks like a very possible upset in the making. I don’t like Miami at Syracuse so I might stay away from that one. πŸ€”

I never tread on the NBA court of wagering until after football is over. Mostly around NBA playoff time. One can only tolerate so much rejection.

At halftime I was looking at the passing props and couldn't believe they were giving Jordan Love a complete half of football to throw for 90 yards to get over the 200.yard passing threshold, it was cold and Miami had no interest in tackling or stopping Green Bay so I figured Love could easily get 90 more yards throwing and said I bet he can get even over the 225 mark and ripped 90 bucks a piece on both plays.

    It was a good decision.

I was down about $150 in plays that got destroyed because Drew Lock played so horrible he couldn't even get to 200 yards passing, had he done that I would have hit for another $500

Can't complain though my prop bets got me +600 into the Green
