Way to keep that Parlay alive brother!!!!!

  • BLUEJAYWAYBLUEJAYWAY Posts: 9,381 ✭✭✭✭✭

Way to score compadres. I'm only a $5 player. T-day I took money line on the 3 favorites. Hit for just about $14 for $5. Not much but I cashed.
Finished up my SB bets. $5 to win on KC,Baltimore,Phil,Detroit. Spread the bet around. Detroit fav at 4-1. Could break even or double my bet. Cheap action.
Snow forecast for Sunday in Buffalo 23 or more inches, but field will probably be cleared. Up to 6 feet in outlying areas.

Successful transactions:Tookybandit. "Everyone is equal, some are more equal than others".

It's a shame that St. John Bosco didn't instead, not score any points. Then the win would have been more fun. LOL

  • galaxy27galaxy27 Posts: 8,090 ✭✭✭✭✭

these high school lines are very interesting. the reason i dropped on them to begin with is because i felt they were way, way off.

take last night, for instance. Mater Dei is the top-ranked high school football team in the country. scary to bet against them, right? well, St. John Bosco was ranked #7........in the nation! so you're telling me if i take a top-10 HS team you'll give me more than 4 touchdowns and a field goal? i don't care if they were playing Ohio St, sign me up.

they lost by a touchdown, never a sweat

then today i focus my attention on Texas HS football, something i have mucho familiarity with. Duncanville is also a national powerhouse. ranked #3 in the nation, #1 in Texas. but here's the deal. we're getting deep into the playoffs here and the pretenders have all but been eliminated. The Woodlands was a good 1-loss team. so if i take them you're telling me that you'll give me more than 5 touchdowns? i don't care if they were playing Ohio St, sign me up.

    never a sweat.

i hope my book offers more HS action in coming weeks. i need it. because...

...those Ws didn't even quite offset the parlay that burst into flames thanks to...........Ohio St

    3 Bets today

All $5 dart parlays and they all lost once Vandy squandered their lead and Ohio State decided to not show up at home.

Not a chance I was investing in Rivalry game day today

  • stevekstevek Posts: 29,225 ✭✭✭✭✭

Ohio State in the second half, played like they were ranked 200 instead of 2.

Maybe a little too close for comfort, but the Bucs came thru for ya.

Nice to see ya edging out some wins, instead of the other way around. 👍

sometimes you just say thank you to the gambling Gods and move on

    thank you, gambling Gods

i don't even want to explain what happened in the Tampa-Carolina game for fear of the outcome changing

let's just say i won and lost that leg 5 times............then the gambling Gods gave me a Christmas present

you truly are better off not paying attention to these games and just finding out if you won or lost after the fact

    I didn't know that.

I guess usually ya can't follow every game on those large parlays. Presume that the heavy favorites are gonna win?

However if ya place some serious coin on one game, I know for me it would be impossible not to watch it. If there was an earthquake in Philly knocking out all communication, I'd immediately drive over to New Jersey to watch the game. 😂

I live bet Carolina and cashed out after seeing that Tampa had 3 TO's

Talk about luck because Carolina fumbled and gave me Mayfield's passing yardage

I got a $17 fun parlay in for tonight's game because I'm not pressing my luck!

Derek Carr frosted me by coming so close to that 200 yards number but all. in all I'm happy with my lucky W's

I'm up like a $150 for the day, the Panthers cash out I posted the screen shot

It would have lost had I not cashed it out but the best part is the OT fumble got me my Baker Mayfield payoff on the pass yards

    I lucked out lol

Lost my 2 College parlay sheets. Thanks OSU. Rebounded for a slight profit overall with keying tonight's game for the over of 41.5 on 3 sheets with carry over wins from Sunday hits. Tagged 2 parlays clean, 3 wins,2 wins respectively, and 1 more parlay, 1 hit with a push over 45 in the Minn. game.

Ripped a bet on Nix to go over 275 late in the 2nd quarter and in the 4th they were offering plus money for Sutton to get just 15 more yards to hit over 90 and smashed it.

Speaking of 900 numbers, pre game I read the blogs with nefarious names like "Pick Dogz" "Covers dot com" "Winners and Whiners" ect and pretty much all of them were talking about Juedy going up against Patrick Surtain and probably getting shut down lol

Paying any of these 900 numbers is worse than wasting money on a 5 a team parlay lol

Got lucky really because I put the Nix play in and of course didn't check it till the 4th quarter, I see Nix is at 250 yards and it's a tight game with 12 minutes left so I say "I'm going to enjoy this" and put it on, first pass play I see and he throws an interception lol so I sweated for a few minutes, had the Broncos had that pick 6 on that following Browns drive I probably would have lost.

It looks great when you win but really it's insanely difficult, if it was that easy I'd be putting in much bigger plays rather than 50- 90 dollar plays.

    Let's hope

need Ewers' balky ankle to hold up and definitely don't need 4 turnovers that lead to short fields & points, like in the first game

i'm not worried about it being a de facto home game for Georgia.......Texas just played in one of the most hostile environments and controlled the game throughout

as of this moment i just think Texas is the better overall team........time to prove it on Sat

A buddy of mine is adamant that Oregon is going to run over Penn State to the tune of him throwing $500 on them to cover the spread, he isn't a big bettor either so this is extreme for him.

Any of you guys looking at this game?

Sadly, Penn State under coach Franklin is notorious for losing big games such as this. This is probably what your buddy is thinking, and it's quite understandable.

But Oregon "run over" Penn State by a lot of points? I don't see that happening.

This may seem like an off the wall comparison. But it took Andy Reid a long time before he was able to win the big game. Andy was infamously known in Philly for his end of game brain freezes and baffling calls. He finally overcame it in KC.

Can Franklin do the same? It's possible, and it would sure be nice to do it against Oregon. Sorry to root against your buddy, but I'm never going to root against my Alma Mater.

That's your team Steve and when it comes to gambling it's irrelevant, your an innocent bystander standing by your team

Nothing to say sorry about, every gambler makes their own decisions and deserve what they get win or lose
