    Yes, a vanity purchase.

    Did you get it??
Definitely a bit steep for a renegade, but could be one of those things that are just rare enough on a personal level to get anyway..😀

This was a great week have been waiting for a 1733 1 real Mexico in numerical grade for almost 2 years. Only one graded by PCGC and only 2 higher over at NGC in VF. Second year milled coins that are not 8 reales are not easy to find in any grades.

Great looking coin. It has that circ-cameo look where the design elements are lighter in colour than the fields. It's also really neat how PCGS put "Real" on the label to assure you that it isn't a counterfeit. ;)

Hahaha yes indeed!!! Thanks patience is key when collecting Latin American coins so many rare coins. Been collecting them for almost 4 years now and every coin I add makes me happy but sometimes like this coin it makes me very happy and I consider myself lucky.

I was hoping to post a couple CBH's that I won in the Fortin auction but due to a lazy USPS worker (I always support the USPS but this time it is hard to) it will have to wait.

My usual carrier was out. I watched the sub drive past my house at 20 mph, never stopping or slowing down and then I received a text update that a delivery attempt was made and I would have to go pick it up in a day or two. He just did not want to get out of the truck and knock on my door. Pretty sad.

Beautiful coins! Glad it worked out despite the nonsense.

This SAME thing happened to me a week ago. I saw the update and drove to the mailbox tree and said. Hey brotha thanks for trying to stop by! Can I have my package? 🤣

Of course….. he didn’t try. He told me he couldn’t find my house.

The weirdest thing is he normally just signs for the package himself and puts in the locked mailbox. 🤔

There’s something particularly sickening about staying put all day to ensure you’re there to receive a package only to get a notification of “recipient not available” as they drive by!

I have a wonderful mail delivery person but my beef is with the people further up the line.
I won a coin in the 3/26 Heritage auction. The coin traveled from Dallas to St Paul Minnesota for 3 days. Then they sent it to Lacrosse Wis. which is the exact opposite direction from me.
They sent it to Mankato who then sent it where? Minneapolis Minnesota. Fun fact. The two big postal processing centers in the Twin Cities are about a mile and a half apart. Can't wait for them to send it to Denver or perhaps Albuquerque. Suppose there is a small chance I might get it sometime next week. james

My FEDEX delivery is scary. They tell me a package will be delivered by 8PM, so I spend the entire day at home working in the front yard. At 6PM, they notify me that they will not be able to deliver the package until the next day. THEN, they deliver the package an hour later and do not get signature confirmation while I'm home. I don't realize the PCGS package had been delivered until noon the next day, so a PCGS package insured for $15K just sat outdoors on the front porch for 16 hours for anyone to grab.

Did the package tell you all about the perks of frequent flyer miles. Your package did get frequent flyer points?

That is scary @Barberian . Just this Christmas I caught a woman stealing packages off my next door neighbors steps. We live in a dinky town and on a less traveled side road you would think nobody would bother with. James
