I will need a full pot of coffee as I’m listing and hopefully selling almost everything. Except for the ones that need a another opinion first.
My plan from the proceeds is to buy one exquisitely beautiful $10 Indian, peace dollar, or Barber half depending on what’s available when all this goes down. The only other requirement I have is that the coin has booming luster and at 67 or better.
Really???
Not sure what you have bu tI hope that you give us a shot at them through the BST
Good luck finding what you want.
Good morning.
A neighbor finally forced a small hoard of modern foreign coins on me. This morning I was curious. The extent of her travels surprised me, as well as this piece:
Good Saturday morning!
Relaxing with a nice cup of my favorite bean and showing some love to a coin that I really never took interest in.
I originally only bought it to complete the gold type set. I must admit, it has grown on me.
Saturday mornings wouldn't be the same without Coffee and Coins!!
But the last few weeks were filled with travel, including seeing my Grandson over Christmas, snowshoeing Mt. Rainer with my Brother and spending New Years with my Daughter.
Oh, yeah, my nephew even got me some coffee!
And here's the last coins to arrive home, before I went trudging off to the great NW

I know you said you're not interested, but that is a pretty interesting "love token." 1861."S.C." Could it be for South Carolina after secession? These things are usually holed, but this one is not. I'd hold onto it!

I did list my ebay handle (fingergems) on the BST .99 cent auctions.
I list more every few days time permitting. About to list this monster, it has the strongest strike I have ever seen on an Ike.
It also has a very unfortunate strike above IGWT. But I'm hoping the number (MS65) is irrelevant or secondary over strike and toning.
The coins I acquired from @lkeigwin have not found their way to storage as of yet. Still sitting on the table and get checked out daily. Here are a few overdates that caught my eye this cold, snowy morning.

And here is a coin I bought really cheaply about 20 years ago or so already slabbed as an example of a hairlines cleaned coin. I took the image back then, the coin is one of those where the hairlines aren’t visible unless the lighting is angled just right. In hand, you have to rotate it around until you can see the hairlines, is very useful as a “show and tell” coin to teach people how to detect improperly cleaned coins.

Thanks, it is too nice for what I find, is what I intend to say. If I keep that, I’ll start a collection. No more room for niches
I thought that I accepted a bunch of nickel and aluminum moderns, but there’s foreign silver and old U.S. stuff that I should tell her about and return her the pile.
Too much of a gift, one of her children will end up here looking for them.
It is a nicely engraved piece, though.

@coinscratch Good luck buddy! Take your time....find the right coin! PS Coin Rarities online has what looks like a monster 1907 $10.00 Indian in 66+. Here's the link: https://www.coinraritiesonline.com/product/1907-indian-head-10-8/
Oh carp! That one is 8,495 over budget and a half point low assuming I have 20k afterwards. Shirley, I'll have to pony up a few more.
Yes, it looks like a great coin, and don't call me Shirley.
Some Saturday Morning Luster with hot black java.
Here's a CAC flunkie that I'm looking at this morning. Bought it knowing it failed simply because I like it.
