Got these mint rolled cents as part of a deal. A few of the boxes are still sealed. Any market for them or just send them to the bank?

There used to be a date code on some of these that were more likely to produce a high probability for doubled dies. I don't remember what dates they are now but I have several boxes to search through one of these years...

Yea I think I have about 4-5 boxes of each myself. Thought they'd be a little more collectable but now not really.

Decent variety in the 2004p Peace series dd.
Also, in the other series, in high grades there are some nice premiums as well.
Let's not forget the key variety, the "Speared Bison". 2005d Bison

Not sure it’s even worth the effort to sell them? Maybe crack them some lonely evening in search of the extra finger? Truth is, I have a lot more interesting stuff to wade through here if there’s sifting to be done.
I’d much rather dig through old stuff in search of varieties if I’m going to put the magnifying glasses on.

I forgot the dates and times that where on the box’s that had the ddo and extra fingers in them. Can anyone give him that info so he can get good money for them if he has them.

For sure, $8.95, still have one of the packing slips. Sold off many of these in '09 & still have a few error tubes left. Gave up after #50 published by Potter/Wexler.

Somewhat remember the dates of 4-16 through 4-23. Boxes long gone with batch numbers and times.

I sent in 40 to be graded before they made a decision to put it on the label so I have 40 double thumbs with out it on the label. 🙁

I have sealed boxes of LP1, LP2 and LP3 I ordered on first day of issue. Not sure why I still have them. Have a bunch of sealed boxes of Kennedy halves and Sac dollars from that time frame, too.

I purchased two or three rolls of Sac dollars when they came out... still sealed in my safe.... I don't think there were any errors then... should open them one day and spend them. Other than that, I have not purchased Mint wrapped rolls of any other coins. I still get a roll or two of half dollars at the bank if I see them... usually do not even think of it. Cheers, RickO

As @ricko has said, I too have all 3 of the '09 sets still sealed in their original boxes in a basement safe.
Next time that I re-arrange the safe's contents, I will have to check them out.
I also have the '04 nickels but don't remember if they are in sealed boxes or just unopened rolls.
Time will tell.
