I can see this item selling out quite easily, and perhaps very soon. Why? Keep in mind that the 2019 high relief gold coin sold out all of a sudden when over 12,000 coins were ordered during a one-week period (June 20-27th). The total mintage virtually doubled overnight, from 12,002 to 24,610 coins. And only one these coins has since been returned, meaning it's highly probable that a high percentage of these coins went to one purchaser.

What if this same individual already has set his sights on this coin?

Or not. Either way, that doesn't necessarily give the coin legs.

You can buy the 2019 coin on eBay for $250 less than the issue price for the 2021 coin.

Interestingly, I don’t see any for sale on the BST!?
I do see the prices dropping, quickly, on the two coin designer set, though.
Peace, Morgan, still good to go.

All true. But I still don't trust anything about the pricing for coins that haven't shipped and still won't ship for 2 months. All this "pre-sale" activity is almost guaranteed to unravel. If the price went up, people are going to cancel their sales. If the price goes down, people are going to cancel their purchases.

If you've pre-sold the Morgan's, I recommend closing all your accounts and moving so they can't reclaim the money. LOL.

I bet the coin looks great. It's just not a good value in my opinion.

Buy it, hold it and love it! Gold prices will creep much higher with all the money printing and world unrest, geopolitics. A good hedge against inflation and stock market/ economic slide. 12,000 mintage is pretty low…..

When the 2019 high relief gold coin was first released, it's price tag was $1800 if I remember correctly...then it jumped higher and higher until it ended about $1000 above that. I considered buying one but the price never came down, then this fateful day in June it sold out suddenly. Surprisingly as the 2017 is still available.

You want to buy gold, you can get 50% more in other forms. You don't buy this coin to play the gold market.

I'm honestly shocked that this is now showing as unavailable. I like the coin, but I wouldn't think it would have a following (ASE...), and it is really expensive. But, congrats to anyone who wanted and got it!

it would seem I know nothing about the market. This guy is telling me something. Look out the market is not something my pontificating or thoughts knows much about. Read the post it’s amazing. Seems like it is saying I don’t know squat and there’s some others in the same boat. I defer and stand corrected. $1000 is not outrageous premium. It’s a great investment ! It’s a good hedge against inflation and low mintage ! Got it!🥸

For someone who clearly does not like this coin, you sure post a lot about it 😄

Obviously, there are many people (including myself) that think that it's a beautiful looking coin, and for some collectors it's worth paying the premium. Not everyone buys for a quick flip.
