Another question I just thought of regarding the 4-coin set & grading...
If sending a 4-coin set off for grading, is the set split up at the grading facility to then grade them individually...and thus are no longer really a "set".
I guess at that point, the buyer (of many sets) hopes to re-create a 4-piece set of 70's???
If there was a 4-piece coin set, all graded at 70....what price could something like that go for?

I think it is option three. Send in quantity for better chances at 70s and sell for a nice profit. Try to recoup costs the best you can on the 69s.
If one was to just look at one coin (the 2021 one-ounce AGE), what do most believe the value might between a 69 & a 70 grading?
Hey there, Honey. If you can get a proof 2021 AGE graded and sold very quickly, you might make a few hundred with a 70 after grading and EBay fees. I think you would lose money on a 69. I don’t think this is the one you want to get graded. Wait until you get your hands on a highly sought, low mintage coin that has some staying power. This isn’t one of them, IMO.

I have never really followed this series or most moderns. I did follow the V75 for a few months and haven't even looked at that one for a while. So I am probably the wrong guy to ask. These will be a low mintage coin for the series but I don't know if it is enough to make much difference. My experience is that value of moderns seems to be 69 is lower than Raw OGP and of course 70 is king. I personally have graded many more 69s than 70s when I have tried.

Coins will be graded separately. It would cost over $250 to grade all 4 with first strike and counting shipping both directions.
Chances are high, you would get a mix of 69 and 70's. You will not get them back for a month from grading counting shipping time. If you sell on eBay, without a store, the new rates are 12.35 to 12.55% fees, plus shipping and insurance. That is over $500 in additional cost to you when you sell, unless you use BST.
Prices are all depending on timing and demand, as many have already stated. A PCGS 70 right now has a good premium if in hand, but there is a good chance you will lose money on any 69's that you get graded. The Mint premium for the proofs was already quite high, and these are just not very special coins.
It will take a couple weeks to know how well these are going to grade, and how well they will sell. Look at the population report or coin facts on the PCGS site and completed eBay sales to get a feel for prices and numbers available. Good luck.
Got to say I am thankful I held onto my 2021/ 10th ounce AGE’s when I see what people are asking for a uncirculated 10th ounce gold AGE on the preeminent BST.
Lotta acronyms, huh!?

Asking..Selling two way different things.
I finally have this miserable offering behind me. Everything went wrong.
Was able to pick up 1oz proof 21EB this 730AM. I missed out on March 11th- just late to the game and didn't think there was much of a shot here based on recent reports etc.
So here's a new one on me. Anyone else have this happen?
I've had a 2021 gold proof coin in my cart, and this morning it flashed available and I quickly did my clicks, but didn't get the "Thank you for your order" message. But my payment method has pinged me that I bought something from the Mint.
So I don't know if I did or didn't, but I've never had my credit card get dinged without it being an order. Thoughts?
4/4/2021 not much change 2-4 left for each size/set
21EB 2021 AM EAGLE GOLD PROOF 1 OZ 4,497
21EC 2021 AM EAGLE GOLD PROOF 1/2 OZ 1,597
21ED 2021 AM EAGLE GOLD PROOF 1/4 OZ 2,697
21EE 2021 AM EAGLE GOLD PROOF 1/10 OZ 7,998
21EF 2021 AM EAGLE GOLD PROOF 4-COIN SET 8,196
Was able to order from mint 1oz (4/6) & four coin set (4/7) then both shipped by 4/10. But definitely slowed since then and nothing the last couple AM’s... new #’s today will be interesting 🤓

Who is grading selling all the FDOI Michael Reagan labeled gold eagles that are listed above? Large numbers already graded 70? Looks like they sent in 1000 sets first day for grading, plus 200 more in advance release first day label? I don't see these for sale, but they must be somewhere?
a little puff of nitrogen on the coin prior to photos/slabbing would be AWESOME!!! I'm surprised at how many coins get imaged/slabbed with dust on them.
Yes, I ordered another 1oz AGE at 730 am today and the Email from paypal came back with that name. My orders on 4/6 & 4/7 did not have that just "US Mint". So talked to paypal and apparently that name is officially attached to the Mints' account - so not a scam or anything. My PP & CC do show US MINT; so it checks out.

So, for those of you that are still buying, are these to flip, hold or just hope it gets shipped at all?
Hold. Open and enjoy today's purchase - 1oz AGE coin. Then keep the FS eligible sealed boxes: 4-coin set and another 1oz. coin; to just keep and see what the future brings....
Probably, but barely. I haven't bothered with them because it is too close and any drop in retail price will bury you. They are selling around $2800 on eBay. If you sell them under bullion, with a store, there's only 7% fees. If you get top-rated, it's 6.3%. So you'd net around $2600 after shipping.

As of 4/18/2021. More returns. Look like this series is either saturating or dead due to late flippers could not make enough money, my guess.

I noticed that too. Did you see the Palladium also up another $100 to a new high, I think it's a new high, of $3450.00 That's a hefty amount for a single coin.

I finally have this miserable offering behind me. Everything went wrong.
I've sold out of the gold ahead of schedule. Now, if I can just talk myself into not buying anymore
Looking at the sold listing on Ebay, these coins are still doing well. For example, the 1/2 oz proof is still fetching $1,800+.
1/4 oz gold available this morning. Had it in the bag and almost pulled the trigger, but wanted to keep my $600 more.
Was able to pick up 1oz proof 21EB this 730AM. I missed out on March 11th- just late to the game and didn't think there was much of a shot here based on recent reports etc.
still nice profit for all sizes, especially the 1/2 still selling for over $1800 (last sold open raw half for $1875).

If credit card was pinged it went through. Still doesn't promise that you will get coin until confirmed though.
Thanks, that's my hope.................

Only one 68 and it's a $10.....¼ ouncer.
My grades from 4 coin set.
Not thrilled, but got to look on the bright side.
Anyone else get their grades back?
I'll be keeping my eye on this auction.

My US Mint Commemorative Medal Set
Not me.
I purchased a half ounce, quarter ounce and a couple of tenths.
Small sealed potatoes.
Love the TrueViews of my 4 coin set.
Thanks to Phil and his team.
Wow! They look better than the coins.
Higher rez stitched in middle.
Lower rez.
Just having some fun with Phil's 29 meg png of the AGE one ouncer.
a little puff of nitrogen on the coin prior to photos/slabbing would be AWESOME!!! I'm surprised at how many coins get imaged/slabbed with dust on them.
They were available this morning for about 30 seconds.
Yes, although a bit longer than that. I got 3 orders in. Maybe fewer people looking?
I submitted my order this morning and gotten the infamous "ORDER PROCESSING" box and then nothing.
Thinking I've strike out but later when I check an email from Paypal , it read:
"You authorized a transaction to Suzanne Marie Howe. Money won't leave your account until Suzanne Marie Howe processes your order"
Checking out a detail pending screen and it is shown as US Mint pending but never received an order confirmation number.
Anyone else had similar experience?

Suzanne Marie Howe? Now that's a new one.
Thx for the info. I have a feeling without a confirmation order, the pending charge from Susanne/US Mint would be dismissed so no dice for me today.
Hope Im wrong thou.
So, for those of you that are still buying, are these to flip, hold or just hope it gets shipped at all?
can the 1oz be flipped?
Hold. Open and enjoy today's purchase - 1oz AGE coin. Then keep the FS eligible sealed boxes: 4-coin set and another 1oz. coin; to just keep and see what the future brings....
Depends on which one. I'm flipping the 4 piece. I may keep one of the tenths.

That better go higher than that!!!
Oh, it will.......6 days is an eternity.
I'm sure. I'm surprised these have held up so well.
They were available again this morning. I saw the tenth ounce and the 4 coin sets. I don't look for the others.
Pops as of April 20, 2021...............
~40% increase in new additions in one week.
~22% of Pops are PR69DCAM.

This is normal behavior for the numbers.
These coins are still flippable.
Small price increase.
1/10 = $265
1/4 = $627.50
1/2 = $1230
1 = $2425
4 pc = $4502.50
I noticed that too. Did you see the Palladium also up another $100 to a new high, I think it's a new high, of $3450.00 That's a hefty amount for a single coin.
Pd has been going up more steadily and consistently than I would have anticipated.
I am glad the next fun Mint offerings are silver!
0.25 ozt AGE was the only one to do a quick flip this AM. All others not.
